His 40 goal campaign is not likely to happen again and now on pace for maybe 60 points. Why lock him up long term when his skating will get worse with age and scoring? Doesn't make sense. He had a good run here but it's time to move on.

In case you haven’t noticed goal scorers are at a premium especially when they don’t disappear in the PO’s. Not every goal scorer that disappears gets 11.6m. That is reserved for only the most special of cases. Yes he had a good run time to move from his 11.6m & slow foot speed. Sell while he’s hot.

He is second in scoring on Canucks. Only behind QH in points. Only behind Debrusk in goals by one.

Well if that works for you, all good. I think most are in a wait see what happens with his play and what Allvin will do. If he is traded, well then he’s traded and then you can focus on the next highly paid underperforming player.
