I was happy to see Sid play so well -- and smile again -- but I was rooting for my ancestorial homeland. The vikings gave it a good effort. Looking forward to seeing this Team USA on the ice tonight.

I have tickets to the Canada-Finland game in Boston. I hope it's as good as last night's game was.

I found it funny that people were hating on this tourney even being a thing. I really dont think those people are true lovers of hockey. My only gripe is no Russia....and to lesser extent Czechia. League did announce 8 team World Cup in 2028 though, I would imagine Russia will be a part of that.

I said I didnt care about it but then I threw it on for a bit and the Crosby/Team Canada fever took over. Was surprised at the compete level. It would be super interesting with Russia in there and yeah, another team like Czechia would be cool.

I wasn't directing that comment at you, had no idea you didn't care or anything like that haha. I haven't been around here as much as usual the past few months.

After the first half of 1st period I thought it was going to be a calkwalk then it was the tale of two games/two periods/two teams the 2nd period. It was all Sweden.

I have to say though, after finally watching them in action last night, I am even less confident about their chances vs USA Saturday night. I don't like their goaltending or half of their defense haha. I'm kinda meh on Parayko and Doughty and now Theodore is gone. Also, I am definitely putting Bennett in the lineup and taking one of Hagel, Cirelli or Jarvis out...if it were up to me haha
