It's weird but I can justify it by trying to find joy in a complete mental child having a near Christmas day experience.

Can just imagine you jumping up on the couch, a hearing aid popping in each direction going YUUUUURRRRRHHHHHHH.

- joel878

The real joy is watching you pretend like you aren’t triggered and having a complete meltdown rn. lol.

You don't need actual points when you can be a grown man who thinks "wrong" qualifies as a respectful intellectual counter argument.

guys are forgetting that Mitch is going to be playing a lot of PK. He was a few seconds shy of McDayDay for ice time for forwards.

Mitch is a great fit for this team, although I'd like to see the lines mixed up a bit.

- gravyface

Lines looked fine except the 4th line got worked over a few times.

Should probably take Hagel out and put Bennett in because the Suomi play more physical. Hopefully it doesn't lead to taking a bunch of penalties.

How could someone possibly find themselves in that state, debating with a grown man who uses words like triggered. Literally see rn and think my teenage daughter is texting me, who can be mad at that.

I'm just watching clips of greased up deaf guy on YouTube trying to imagine the pure elation you must have had then.

Good on you, happy you got your moment big fella, you never gonna catch me 👍

“subject to the jurisdiction thereof.”

Do more research.

- Rare_Jewel

Nice try. When written, that clause served to exclude birthright citizenship to 3 groups of people that were specifically not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. Those were foreign diplomats, people serving in foreign armies stationed in the U.S. and, at the time, native Americans.

The Supreme Court supported this interpretation once and will do so again.

Research involves more than just regurgitating bullpoop.

Wrong again, prepare to be disappointed. Children of illegals can't be citizens.

It's the stupidest idea in the world to give the children of people who enter your country illegally automatic citizenship.

Absolutely, (frank) those kids. They should have to get their paperwork in order and walk their toddler asses down to apply for citizenship the right way, like everyone else.

If they don't like it, they should have made their mother birth them somewhere else, right?

You're right. You should, out of the kindness of your obviously massive heart, adopt them into your home and pay for them all. Because you're just that morally superior and filled with such altruistic love.

Yes, my 350 million person home is the perfect comparable. You (frank)ing donkey. 🤦

Whatever gets them internationals out, right? You're dying to get to a real solution here, just round them up as they pop out of the womb and send them off to camp, yeah? Group showers, you guys will love it..

Uggie will call it "camp internment" for originality.

Here’s the Supreme Court ruling. The case is called US vs Wong Kim Ark and it specifically concludes that the children of aliens born in the U.S. are given birthright citizenship.

(Relax, you just have to read the first paragraph.)

Wrong again, that case was not about illegals, they were legal residents. I already knew you were going to cite that 30 minutes ago. Go read the 14 pages of discussions they had when they made the law. Absolutely nobody intended to make a law to allow the children of illegals automatic citizens.

WRONG! The 14th Amendment doesn’t differentiate between illegal or legal residents citizens. It just says all persons born or naturalized in the U.S. The only argument has been to try to twist the meaning of subject to the jurisdiction of which had a well understood meaning when the amendment was drafted and debated and which was specifically addressed by the Supreme Court

Keep looking.

Yes, it does...“subject to the jurisdiction thereof”...as is the intention of the executive order and interpretation of the 14th amendment to stop future illegals from having an incentive to illegally enter. Look up the 1st draft of the 14th amendment and then 2nd draft written by Senator Jacob Howard. This was clearly added to exclude foreigners and aliens (clearly meaning illegals) while allowing freed slaves to become citizens.

Imagine somebody illegally breaks into your home, births a child on your kitchen floor and then tells you that child now gets the right to live in your home. That's how idiotic you would have to be to interpret that law in that manner. Especially now when there are potentially tens of millions of illegals who were allowed in under a brain dead sleepwalking administration via intentional dereliction of duty in hopes of current cheap labor and future voters.

As you clearly ignored what will prove your argument wrong, you keep burying your head in the sand.
