I think they could make "The Winter Classic" an outdoor All-Star game / skills competition and it could be done correctly to make everybody happy.

The players generally don't enjoy the All-Star game but seem really amped up to play an outdoor game. So they would be happy. The stadium would be way bigger and thus more money, more advertising so the league would be happy.

When the tech boys tipped the scales to give Obama three terms, the Marxists were jumping for joy (except when they caused billions of damage in "mostly peaceful" riots). As soon as they lost control though, anybody who exposes their crimes is the devil. Funny how that goes.
