I was an active reservist in the Cdn Forces for about 5 years. Moved to the “ready reserve” when I moved away and didn’t want to go and join a new unit + new job that would likely have prevented me from being able to parade often enough.

I don’t miss the winter break exercises though - camping and snow don’t mix. Lol
