I just want to give Michael Peca a chance to run things before we lose him this offseason. Don’t want another Knoblauch situation. Let’s see what he has
- TPC

I saw something that Don Muse is likely to be a HC at some point. Maybe he’d get the job

Let's talk coaches.

Outside of coach Q, who would we even get to replace Lavy next season? Since I doubt they make a change in season now. But zero shots this period is a (frank)ing joke

Just look around the league, we need fresh blood behind the bench I believe. Recycling these long time coaches isnt working. The biggest mistake we made was not hiring Knoblauch. Ive been pushing the Peca thing for a while now if they end up firing Lavy. I mentioned Malhotra couple years ago as well as someone Id give a look to.

Laviolette needs to go. He can’t get them to play and refuses to change in any meaningful way. The extent to which it’s even his fault is basically irrelevant now, he’s got the stink on him too

Every single UFA must go. K’Andre gone. Get Kreider and Mika out of here too. Trocheck can (frank) off also but he is here to stay.

I'm with TPC, let's move forward with Peca for the season. Fire Lavy and Housley and see what he can do for

For now, sure. It just feels like you’re cutting out most of the infection but not all and it’ll just start spreading again. It’s gotta be a burn it all down situation in my opinion. The players, coaches, Drury but that won’t happen

Trocheck doesnt bother me, but I always felt like he was expected to be the 3C.

75% of the current roster needs to just go. the rot is so deep. I’ve just never seen any hockey team play like this consistently. We lost 8-2 to the Sabres and now have 12 shots against a team that gave up 8 goals last night

I agree, many of these guys need to go and it has to start at Mika, Kreider, Lindgren. Panarin has a year left, so Id play that by ear after everything else gets cleared out.

When the Miller trade finally happened, I said I wasnt sure if it would matter to help us. If the plan is to tab him as captain and make him the leader, you need guys who are gonna buy in, and I felt as long as the old guard is there he would never truly take the reigns of the team.

I mean cool they won but this game really means nothing. They were dominated all game by the pens after getting embarrassed by the Sabres. By the way two teams who aren’t sniffing the playoffs lol

JT Miller has 8 points in 7 games as a Ranger. Really the only reason I still get enjoyment watching this team right now
