Thought it was an awfully weak cross check to call, but honestly . . . when I saw Timmins on the PK unit, I didn't have a great feeling. I haven't really dug into his numbers, but his first 10-15 games were very good and then since he's been struggling.

2 of the 3 on the TSN panel say Leafs shouldn’t try to resign Marner before playoffs. The one who says they should also says they likely won’t be able to.

O-Dog goes so far as to essentially say if the Leafs don’t have playoff success they should move or let Marner walk.

Interesting.

I agree with seeing how it goes in the playoffs before making a decision unless they pull of a blockbuster trade.

He wasn’t the best GM the Leafs have ever had and he wasn’t the worst. Those who hate him generally refuse to admit he ever did anything good or positive or got shafted by Covid pretty hard.
