Call the whole situation whatever you will, the truth is he's been mishandled on many levels. Kinda reminds me of Pat Quinn offering Bure a contract in Canadian dollars.

At the end of the day fans like you are the reason the Canucks will never win a cup. Despite all evidence, you can’t let go of your little crush. The fanboys are the loudest portion of the fanbase and Aquilini is only worried about public perception. No managent group has ever been empowered to achieve long term success for the franchise.

I hope you are pleased lefty 🙏

Didn't the organization very publicly pull him off the trade block 2 weeks ago
- NorthNuck

They are simply trying to gain a bit of leverage. If they can trade him. They wil

Yes, despite spending thousands supporting them in years past going to games and watching almost every game on TV, they still can't find a way to be successful. I guess I should've tried harder. My bad...

More excuses!!!!

Well he isn't gonna be able to run the media out of town now is he? It's also not just the Canadian media anymore either. He caught the attention of some larger American outlets during the 4 Nations. Plus doesn't he realize the media is asking the exact same questions the fans are? He's at the point where his lack of living up to his contract will follow him anywhere he goes. He simply needs to face up and earn it.

Meanwhile JT has put up 8 points in 7 games as a Ranger. And my fandom keeps gravitating to the WHL.

Is Tocchet signed for next season? Maybe he can go with him. I just want it to be over. Every game you spend all that money on, you're paying part of his salary, that makes me happy knowing that.

If Pettersson is traded he won't be far behind when he becomes a UFA.

I think everyone does. It's obviously costing the team on and off the ice. It's hurting the Canucks in the standings. Enough's enough. Deal with it one way or another already. Then go running to beg Hughes for forgiveness.

Why do you want the coach of the year gone? His best forward was a 3rd liner on the Rangers…not sure what he is supposed to do

Unless they can turn things around pretty quickly here I don't think we're too far off from another fan revolt. Maybe not to the extent of having Fire Allvin banners flying over the city....yet. But someone is going to be in the crosshairs.

I have grown to like Hughes, but it might be best for the organization to trade him.

I'm sure it's the same for many franchises but Canucks fans seem to have super deep connections to players we should be moving on from. Goes back before the Luongo-choke era to be sure but man I remember the Kesler fiasco after it came out that he and Lou wanted out...but yet fans still pined for them to stay lol. Hamhuis, Bieksa, Edler, Tanev on and on and on...just move on folks lol.

Momentum? From where?
- bloatedmosquito

Speaking of momentum the team was 6-1-1 going into that sh!tty break even with injuries and now we look like a Junior B team out there.

Perfect.

Tocchet is not the problem if given the right tools to work with. Trying to squeeze wins out of this current roster is tough considering 6-7 players were swapped out from last seasons success.

Maybe but he's the best coach this team has had since AV, unless you count Torts whose time here was an unmitigated disaster.

Yes, that would help, just easier to change managent than ownership.

Pretty sure they had 6 or 7 new players added during last seasons anomaly season.

I don't care if he's making 7 million or 11 million, something isn't right with him either physically or mentally...or both. The whole situation is unfortunate. A fantastic young offensive player ruined by the organization, I'm really not surprised, just disappointed. It's sad that they've mishandled such a great young player so badly.

I hope he's traded, gets whatever it is that he needs, and goes on to much better things, like so many others the Canucks have traded away.
