The whole Miller situation isn't on the team, it's on Miller. The team didn't ask or persuade him to be an ass-hole. He kind of forced their hands there. That being said, I believe Chytil is going to be a good top six, 60+ point, center in the years to come.

Although I was fine with them moving on from Miller, he appeared to get some instruction from coaching and management to ride #40 a bit, hence when Allvin was questioned about lockerroom stuff, he said, he needs to grow up.
I have liked Chytil for a while, agree that he could be a decent 2nd line centre, hopefully, as he is what the team has to go with now

My point was, they need some top 6 help, badly and Boeser isn't the answer, as he just isn't fast enough, nor is he willing to be a bit of a physical presence.
Let's see how the next 6 months or so shake out, as I am sure if some decent changes don't happen, Canucks will lose some longtime fans.

Boeser is a good hockey player who wants too much money. He's essentially average with a good shot.

Carolina has always been high on Petey could probably make that work.

That's what I was thinking too. We know they were pretty close on a deal before EP signed his extension, and I'm sure they think they can fix him. Not sure Brind'amour is the right coach to do it, though.

I think Raffi would be the only coach suitable for Pouty.

It would be such a bloody shame to see a Miller-like return for Pettersson only to have him go back to a 100 point player on a different franchise but that's how things seem to work in 'ol Cancukland here lol. If the return was solid then sure probably best for both clubs.

No man with normal testosterone levels could be nice to Pouty. He is an unlikable freak

I would wager that EP continues to have a down year this year but goes back to the 100pt player next season. Just in time to ruin our chances at McKenna

His passing is underrated (as you have just proven) and his hand eye is incredibly above average.
He is good for +30 goals for the next 4 years.

I don’t spend any money on this team. All my tickets are free and I expense the beers. Who would pay for this product 🤮

You let him off to easy. If he feels so strongly he should put his money where his mouth is … show some balls.

I guess you're right, he's like a guy that complains about the state of the country but doesn't vote. I'm not talking politics so don't expand on that, I'm just using it as a comparison.

In the last 82 games including (4 nations) this Peteys stat line since Jan 1:

82 games
4 goals
29 points
-4
113 shots

Hard to be a fan of a team when this is their star player. And he is an unlikable douche

- CanuckDon

My point stands. Plus this is Hughes erasure.

Yes, if Petey goes, you surely lose Quinn Hughes. There goes any star power you once had, in the span of 18 months they are potentially going from such a promising young up-and-coming 109 point team, to a lottery team...again.
