I do agree, it seems like a lot. Robertson can go any time, Cowan could be a bust, or could be a stud, and I like Timmins. But you gotta swing for the fences if you want to shore up your D with a player like Colton. You see what a player like Ekholm did for the Oilers, bumps everyone else down to playing against lower competition and the whole D improves.

Like others have mentioned, though, he is signed forever so who knows how it works out.

That's what Ekholm cost at the deadline. Don't see that being much different from what the Leafs could offer.

1st round prospect winger, a roster body salary dump and a 1st round pick. Leafs would pay extra (Robertson) for the fact that Parayko has a contract and isn't a pending UFA.
