I would consider them both an upgrade but not high on the list of preferred acquisitions. More like a contingency plan if others are too expensive or unavailable.

Cheaper doesn't mean better. Especially in a weaker East where the Leafs could win the division and get good match-ups if they upgrade and play well down the stretch.

Also, I don't mind trading away top picks and top prospects for a player with term on his contact like Parayko. But spending future capital on a pending UFA hasn't worked out well for the Leafs. I'd prefer they do what Vegas does where they usually acquire a deadline player and keep him long term.

Get Shorty is probably my favourite comedy of all time. The scenes with him and Travolta or him and Denis Farina are so great.

A couple B movies he made that I like are The Package and The Quick and the Dead.

The Conversation is one of my faves too.

I really don't get it either man.

I heard the other day some stat about how how much leisure time the averge human has clawed back since the industrial revolution. Something like 6 hours. And all of that time has gone to watching TV. Now we're watching people watching TV.
