Robertson, Holmberg, Cowan, Minten, Marner, 3 firsts, 2 seconds, a third, a fourth, a fifth, a sixth, a seventh, and future considerations for McDavid.

If he's retained by 30-50% or something for the three seasons that's an easy yes imo. If they could sign Tavares to a 6/7 mil deal they basically would have Tavares/Schenn for the price that Tavares is playing at right for a few years while the window is open.
Would open up line swapping with three centremen that can put up some offense instead of where they are now. - AdamFrench
Yeah I am curious to see how far STL would go with retention.
If they want to do 50% then ya Cowan can be in the conversation.
But if its around 2M you do not get that sort of asset.
1st in 2027, one of Danford or Minten and something else. And Toropchenko comes back.
Schenn is a good player. He is fast, he hits, can pass, is good in his own end and works with Berube. When you look at the short list of natural C's in the league you can see why he is coveted. |

Couple of interesting suggestions at MLHS.
Connor Murphy would be a good add. - gravyface
I’d be ok with him. That becomes our one significant addition and the add for the 3rd line essentially becomes Jarnrok |

Some Philly fan suggested Risto and Laughton to the Oilers. Wouldn't that be a really good pair for us to target?!? - Whipper
Laughton isn't really a C. It is a fallback option if they strike out on their main targets. |

3C seems glaring, but I think the Yarn Crook would provide some defensive stability to the 3rd line and could make that line harder to play against.

Will get destoryed against good teams in a 7 game series.
a legit C is an absolute must if the Leafs are serious about winning this year.
Enough wingers playing C please. |

If there is only one big add, I'd prefer it be on D. A Parayko or similar. Sure, 3C is an issue, but an impact D goes a lot further in the playoffs than a good 3C.
I'm old enough to remember when McCann, Domi, Robertson were lighting up teams. We can, and we will get that line going again. Domi is built for the playoffs. |

100% disagree. They want a C so they can utilize Matthews and Tavares more.
They have a D core that stabilizes the team.
Domi is absolutely not built for 3C in playoffs, in the slightest. They have a huge hole there and until they fix it they will be in trouble against elite teams in a 7 game series. |

When the leafs trade for practically no one by March 7th the number of people who will female dog about it til the 14th will be amusing, the ones who won’t stop after that will be downright hilarious. |

Not sure anyone should be sold on Timmins and Benoit in the playoffs, and I love them both for different reasons. One injury to Tanev and this team is absolutely f@cked.
The impact a legit 1/2 D man makes on a team cannot be overemphasized.

One injury to Tanev?
What about an injury to AM or Tavares?
Leafs have 4 good D that can be top 4 options. It is the best D they have had going into playoffs.
The priority is a C, then a depth D, then another depth piece if they can. |

The Leafs have a lot more depth at F than they do at D. They dealt with 'injuries' to AM and WN last year, and still only lost in OT of game 7 on the road.
I guess we'll just have to disagree. There is more than one way to skin a cat. |

Record low turnout. A cynical election no one wanted, and which was not needed. And was a complete waste of taxpayer money. It's the fat lying bastard Doug Ford way. Yet the "fiscal conservatives" lap it up like the hypocritical lapfemale doges they are.
Let's see how your boy Polievre does. He's currently busy bottling a 25% lead in the polls. - fifty__missions
Bet you jumped for joy when Trudeau called an early election. Or do you just jump for joy every single time he steals your money to give it to somebody else? You'd be jumping a lot.
Let's see how much you enjoy watching an an elitest corrupt central banker WEF puppet get elected by non-citizens and then wields power until October when he throws Jag another communist bone to chew on.
The turnout really is embarrassing. I wish there were conservative options available in these elections rather than these knockoffs like Ford tricking rubes with the colour of their lawn sign. - Zezel
There is, they just aren't allowed on TV and get zero attention like the New Blue Party.
I did not even bother to vote this time. Can't vote for Ford and sure can't vote for red or orange. - alex.TML
Can't vote for Ford after his COVID BS but between anybody who has a chance to win, he's by far the lesser of the other two pure evils. |

I’m not confident in JT as a 2C going forward. He had a great start to this year but has really fallen off and didn’t have great numbers in the playoffs last year. I don’t want to pay a lot for a 2C when that’s where JT needs to end up by next year. I don’t see Schenn as a viable 2C, capable of keeping pace with Willie, at least at the price to get him and pay him for 3 more years. |
