Under 14 minutes for MM is laughable. Especially down a forward. Didn’t see the OT. How did MM look?

The coverage on the winning goal was not good. Between MM and Konecny it was not good.

As long as they keep giving MM chances in offensive situations I am fine with 14 minutes. Powerplay, offensive zone starts and OT shifts. Dude can put up points and is not a good defensive player right now.

Also, TK has flatlined for the most part. Just an observation.

Good point. If he makes mistakes, they are opportunities to learn. One learns more by doing and failing than not doing at all. That’s the problem with the current coach; he sacrifices learning for meaningless points.

I don't think it's bad to learn now. I get ppl think he the wrong coach for developing michkov.

Is he my first choice no but I don't think he is as bad as you all cry about and old school still can work. Personally I'm not a fan of babying a player

8. There are some similar centres: Nick Bjugstad, Jake Evans, Yanni Gourde, Luke Kunin, Scott Laughton, etc. Utah is trying to make the playoffs. Montreal and Evans had a gap, but the Canadiens are holding for the price they want (at least a second). Same with the Sharks and Kunin. There’s some question about what will happen with Gourde. He’ll be back soon, but, at times, Seattle has indicated they’d prefer to keep him. The Kraken have some decisions to make. Laughton, I’m told, wants to stay in Philadelphia and has made that clear, but if the Flyers get a first-rounder or a good prospect, they could say yes. With this group, teams know what it will cost. Maybe they wait to see what else unfolds, or if other targets are snared.

I agree with his letting his game be. I do think he is not ready physically for a ton more minutes. Getting him to 16 minutes per game should be doable.

Outside of the limited minutes for MM that game was a perfect scenario for me. He put up points and he has specific things to work on for his overall game. Does 25G, 35A get MM the Calder?

The Flyers will not get a better offer for Laughton regardless of when they trade him. He is worth a second round pick. Just trade him already.
