no, I think this is his where he wants to retire

Although obvious winning the Cup is special but I think its a bit bittersweet he did it to the Rangers.

I think he wants to retire here as well. However, would he go to Edmonton for a couple of months for another run at the Cup? IDK the answer, but I don't think its crazy and I wouldn't think less of him for wanting to do so...

It may not be a popular opinion, but I think we need to move on from Kreider. We cant move forward if we keep looking back. I love what he provides short handed and on the PP, although not as much currently, but we have to move on.

Kreider and Panarin I believe will be traded over the next year.

Drury wants fast physical players. Seems to want the main core to change as well

When healthy, you cannot get a better value at 6.5M per for a 30-40 goal scorer.

With that said, I am curious as to what ahs landed him on IR this time. It's said to not be his back; though, I believe it is.

I have no idea what to do with the defensive group, but as far as the forwards are concerned my ideal lineup would be…

Cuylle, Miller, Perreault
Panarin, ______, Zib
Othmann, Trocheck, Berard
Rempe, Carrick, Edstrom

It would obviously be easier to get a 3C or a 2RW, but ideally this would be the setup.

So, you've given up on Laff? Also keep in mind Perreault is likely two years away form making the team.

Honestly, the lineup looks better without him. So have I given up? No. I totally forgot about him, thats how impactful hes been this season.

He's in college. If he goes pro next year, he will likely start in the AHL.

Unfortunately Kreider used to be a physical player. That all went out the window when AV was the coach and he never got that part of his game back.

It’s not like he’s playing in juniors. 2 years seems like something has gone wrong

I hated the passivist/pvssy Rangers AV made. Guess we were just spoiled with Torts' teams. I just could not stand Ranger players getting pushed around at the Garden and doing nothing. Hated it.

I'd rather see him get solid minutes in his first Pro year in Hartford than being on a line with Carrick and Rempe (and you know that's where he will end up).

Its kind of possible laf gets traded for that elusive LHD- would you do Byram and McLoed OR Samuelsson and Cozens, for Laf+ something else? That fixes almost every hole we have and graduates Perrault immediately

I think something like that could happen with Buffalo.

Laff will put up 100 points playing with Thompson and Peterka.

Yep. Probably

I’m willing to give Laf a pass this year but I wouldn’t be shocked or upset if they trade him. The fact they moved on from Kakko and Chytil, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they did it with laf too. Washing themselves completely of the kid line. Which is crazy to think ends up happening after all the hype about it

.

The entire team is sad this season. Keep in mind, Laff is still top-three on the team in even strength points...maybe top two.

They keep turning the corner only to run into another pothole sorta speak. Thankfully may be the devils are giving us another lifeline, along with a wild card chances still decent.

I stand by that if we make the playoffs we’ll be that team you don’t want to play. Peaking at the right time

So I have a laf jersey, and I have 3 tee shirt/jerseys…one was Vesey, one was kakko and one was Lindgren with my dog photo shopped on it.

So laf may be on his way to a new org

I know he does, I just think he might waive next tdl if he has the chance. Especially if NY tells him they do not plan on brining him back
