In regards to my comment on the previous blog about an honest review of RT, I ask you this....does he look like a coach ready to sign an extension? Ever since the end of November the guy looks like the joy and love of the game has been sucked out of him. His press conferences after games are the same word salad, I honestly believe if he could kick the crap out of some these guys he would. He has his positives don't get me wrong, but I think he has run out of ideas as to how to get these guys to play the way he wants them playing, and it shows.

The Royals clinched a couple of weeks ago. So I'll be able to watch some good playoff Hockey live with players that actually care. Plus at an affordable price. Can't really beat it if you're a fan of the sport. It beats ragging on a struggling team non stop.

The Canadian Men's 7 team started the Challenger series this weekend, they finished 2nd in the 1st event, losing to Chile in the final. The 2nd stage is next weekend and the 3rd is Apr 11/12th. You forgot letting Lindholm walk. None of the 3 walking would make a difference this season. Their impact here wasn’t anything special. Cole was solid til the PO’s. Lindholm sucked. Z was here when the team started to drop off but he was good in the PO’s. The PP went downhill after a hot start then sucked into the PO’s.

Signing Hronek was obvious EP was an overpay.

If Gus Nyquist is netting you a 2nd rd pick, there is no way that Brock, Pius, and Derek should be still on this team by Friday night. I pray Patrick, and Jim don't come off their number and term to Brock. BB is a wonderful human being that has had to deal with a lot in his personal life, however business is business and if the prices are insane its time to capitalize.

PSA, to all of those that say "if we trade him where is the scoring going to come from"....he just put up 5 shots in 5 games, he's not helping turn the scoring woes around at the moment.

If EP's play has to do with injury in anyway the team should do one of two things;

1. trade him while he has value
2. If they believe in him, shut him down for the season to recover and train.

In either situation, they should shut down Hughes and Demko and sell UFA's. Draft higher picks and trade others away for help now. Retool during the summer with futures we acquire now. Start next season fresh with our stars fully recovered and having had a full off season of training. Maybe we get lucky with a top 3 pick, couple good centers available there.

What possible injury stops him from shooting? He was PP1 then off it cuz he’s lousy & not shooting. You can forget about excuses for him cuz nobody in the organization has said anything nice about him for how long? Always the same message & him with always ignoring it but heh he says he’ll figure it out or it’s the media or whatever lame bs he passes off.
