The #NJDevils are retaining 50% of Trent Frederic's contract as a third party in the deal to Edmonton.

Hearing Trent Frederic will be traded to Edmonton. Believe this is a three-way through New Jersey

If the cards fall well and Jack Hughes plays like a big boy in big boy games, these teams could face each other in the finals.

I don’t buy that rentals are completely off the table. They need a center for depth purposes. Maybe they get Laughton who has another year left
- Slimtj100

Parssinen IS the depth center that Drury wanted. He is the same size as Laughton, but 7 years younger, so not a lot of stats to make a true comparison from. But, it's 0.38ppg to 0.40 ppg. so far in their careers. One drafted 20th overall, the other 210th. Patience, my friend.

$2.85 x 4 years. Would have probably got more on open market but Evans really wanted to stay.

Poor Vesey:

Ryan Lindgren is in tonight. Jimmy Vesey will be a healthy scratch. Manson is also not playing but getting close.

Y’all could be right, but if they got a player with some playoff experience that would help like always. Jusso could be a next year thing, over giving him regular duty this year too

Laughton would cost too much I think that was the issue last year. Supposedly the rangers were in on him last year TDL

It never ever hurts to have more center depth either, which is my main thing on this. Zib morphing into a RW is kind of created another hole down the lineup there

Tough to see Rangers and Flyers trading with each other when they are close to each other in the standings...or ever, if at all.

I can agree with that. But, I think Drury has made it clear that whatever success we manage to achieve this year will be done by players that are here for the future, not just brought in to roll the dice on this spring.

They should, their bottom 6 is the pits

Seravelli has a column out saying Smith to the Leafs is a good fit

It is Scott Lachance's son. Much more surprising, Jack Parker is his grandfather. No surprise he plays at BU
