Savard is a 6th or 7th defenseman at this point. Would a contender give a 2nd round pick for that? Maybe if they value depth on the blue line that much, cause you need a lot of defensemen to win the cup.

But then again, mtl has to deal with their own injuries and lack of depth. They might decide to keep him either way. Same thing with Armia.
