I'm kinda glad Conny stayed put. Not an overly busy deadline, but the tougher teams got tougher. Not sure if the Flames would have made it past the 1st round. Bring on the draft and maybe a free agent or 2.

I guess Conroy felt that the chase for a playoff spot, and the experience that comes with it, was worth more than what they could have gotten for some of the Vets that need to be dealt.

Dam... glad Conny said faq dat. Let the season play out, whatever happens... happens. The vets said they will stay the course and build a team for 27 when new area opens which is more important than a 4-6 game playoff appearance.
