Fair enough, but gotta be realistic. They did a full renovation of management, adding some legit pieces (Rutherford won cups), full reconstruction of coaching staff and some support staff. Bunch of new scouting postions and analytics created, plus finally getting the team to Abby. The development of staff in the minors.

They went from guys like Green, King, Baumgartern, Brown, down the list - none of them ever had won at the NHL level. So why/how are they teaching our team how to win? Then to Having guys like Tocchet, Gonch, Foote - at least now, we have guys that know what it takes to win. We have actual Cup winners trying to coach us.

I think our forward group is a 3-4 pieces away, I have more faith in EP returning to normal, Hughes is one of the best players on earth. We simply build around him, he singlehandily wins us games, he's dangerous EVERY GAME.

I like our goalies/pipeline. Our defense, although brand new, is the most exciting D core I've ever seen. QH, FH, MP, TM, DPTY, Williander are incredibly dynamic, well built, their defending will win us a lot of games IF....

we start shooting more, entering the zone with control, stop dumping, offseason focus on SCORING and speed

I find it hilarious that you guys think it’s not possible that a few of us know people on the team. I don’t doubt lefty does for example. I was invited to Daniel Sedins wedding ffs. Hockey players are just regular bros. If you live downtown and have some $ you will likely know some of the players

Yeah but unlike you, I actually like this team and try to see positives or at least logic in most of their decisions. I don't turn my back & give up on players as willynilly as you either. But I watch every game () and you and I know that this current team is gonna luck/limp its way into the playoffs and then get steamrolled in round one.

They had to make better decisions on Brock, Suter, Forbert and even maybe Sherwood, Bluegar, Garland & Demko. They accomplished nothing. They should be loading up on picks every year. Our prospect cupboard is nearly empty and we're not a good, consistent, or well balanced team - so we should be always thinking one step ahead in terms of future consisderations (drafting, acquiring picks) - weaponizing CAP FAWKING SPACE at bare minimum.

Disapointing day to see them drop the ball so horribly.

I too watch every game none of this turned it off of give up & run off to another team. I’m selective on what player I ride & if only they’re not close to value on what paid. I’m really pissed about wasting 13.2m. Facepalm
