Just finished watching the Coyotes game. This made me think of Canucks media and fans.

Patrik Allvin says teams around the league wanted Lekkerimaki, D-Petey, and Willander.

He didn't want to part with them.

They are the future evolution of the retool which is unfolding in the present.

Without Hughes they really have no one that can drive play besides maybe Garland. Chytil has a few chaotic spurts.

I thought it was a frustrating game to watch, Lankinen was solid but it seemed he was able to see the shots to make the saves, although there was a couple of defensive clearances off the goal line.
I really like the way Chytil carries the puck into the zone but I would like a drive to the net or pass off before cycling around the goal and losing possession.
