Lavi should be fired right now

Yea I’m done with Lavi. These too many men on the ice penalties and nobody is held accountable is ridiculous.

Sitting Berard because JBrod is super friends with Othmann and putting them on the 4th line. Berard, probably the highest effort player not named jt miller that we have
- picklerick

Jbrod has been good. He isn’t our problem.

K'Andre Miller didn't lose this game all by himself, but its really gotten old watching him treat the puck like a live hand grenade and having COSTLY turnovers!

They refuse to use Zib at center, why we are stuck with Carrick as 3C

Lavi is a moron. Plain and simple. He’s loading 2 lines and saying forget the other 2. Balanced scoring would be beneficial but he refuses.

He’s been a big problem this year.

Keep Berard in. Did the same thing with the capitals young players

Rangers rolling 4 bottom pair dmen is an issue. Have no issue with Schneider but he’ll never bee anything more than a bottom pair. People need to stop hyping that player. Been the exact same since his rookie year.

Miller should not get a long term deal here either. Bridge at most

Miller and Schneider would be a fine 2nd pair. They aren’t a top pair. Also, at 23 years old I’m not ready to say he’ll never be top pair dmen someday.

Schneider is not a 2nd pair on any contender sorry but he isn’t. Miller could be but inconsistent and makes costly mistakes

Agree to disagree. Schneider has never had a reliable partner. He always gets stuck with the leftovers.

Schneider Soucy would be a good 2nd pair IMO. End of the day though, we don’t really need him to be once Fox is back.

Problem still remains, Fox isn’t a top pair guy and neither is Borgen.

I keep advocating for gutting the D if we get the right pieces in return.

Soucy/Borgen id be fine with as a 3rd pair.

Good players don’t need that. It helps but Schneider not good enough regardless. Does nothing good to great. All avg play

Fox is absolutely a top pair dman. He’s just not a shutdown one like a Slavin. He’s offensive with good to great to defensive metrics in certain areas. Struggles in a lot also. Slow and not physical He doesn’t have to be carried at all tho. He needs a complimentary piece. Schneider can’t carry anyone or be propped up regardless. He’s a 5/6

The secondary problem is this team is chronically inept at developing young players so do we really know what we have?

I know defense men take a little longer to develop but the mistakes Miller makes arent part of growing pains or not reading the play, they are just dumb. Id trade him for the right package.

Damn, I feel like I’m on an island by myself here. We’re expecting a 23 year old kid that’s still developing to be a top pairing dman already.

Honestly, in a hypothetical dreamland...

Zadorov, Fox
Byram, Schneider
Soucy, Borgen

This D I think would be really good.

Nope. Not at all. But he’s shown no signs of great play to get there yet. He’s fine where he’s at for now
