In mentioning Peterka yesterday being one Sabre whom Drury was very interested in acquiring, in addition to, or among McLeod, Byram, and Greenway, (the latter prior to him agreeing on a new 2 year deal with Buffalo later yesterday); they were the four targets Drury had in mind, for why he had scouts assigned to the Sabres matchup last Thursday in Carolina.

McLeod was Drury's first target preferred as 3rd Line center, ahead of completing the Lindgren / Vesey trade for Parssinen+ last Saturday. But word of McLeod has dropped in comparison to Peterka, whose cost to acquire is high due to having many teams interested in him, with some having already submitted offers.
