Prediction of the heart : Leafs #1, Florida #2, and Bolts #3. Florida and Tampa beat the hell out of each other for 7 overtime games and the Leafs pounce on and destroy the banged up team that emerges. They coast to the Final and make that deep run they desperately need to deliver.

Leafs and Bolts batter each other for 7 games and the Leafs emerge victorious after Tanev lays the boom down on Ducherov in game one and takes him out of the series. Knies makes life hard on Vasi and Vasi gets frustrated and spears him, takes a match penalty and gets thrown out of his "dialed in" zone. Leafs win and they go on to fight face-licker Marchand and the new Legion of Doom line of TkaUpchuk - Let Off Some Steam Bennett - Facelicker McGee. Epic tragedy or glory results, depending on how much the Core 4 steps up to the big moment and Stoli holds down the fort.

Toronto drops in 6 games to Tampa bay. Florida goes on to barely win the East over the Caps only to lose to Vegas in the finals.

You never really know where these guys actually want to sign. So many agents play games with teams to use them as leverage. If a good agent knows a rich team like the Leafs or a contender like Edmonton are willing to put forward an offer, it only makes it easier for the agent to use that offer as leverage on the team he really wants to go to.
