Treliving has done well building the D corps. Goaltending has been above average for the most part. Hopefully the $$ boys show up this spring so we can watch the Leafs in June.

Yup, if you rewind a few years, maybe even half a decade, it's been goaltending and D that's let us down. Yeah, we've had problems scoring, but getting caved in and playing like you can't trust your goalie really clamps down on offense.

We have 7D signed for like 3 years or something, so this isn't just a short window either: we have a solid enough D core to ride out the core while they're still in their prime.
