The GM's wanted it(or a majority did), the reasoning being that the draft was too close to free agency and valuable time was lost as GM's and scouts flew back from the draft host city. Again, not all GM's felt this way but enough did to make the change.

I only have a Hughes and a Royals jersey to pack. Both are making the trip back. If I find a free 40 along the way I'll definitely give it a toss. Honestly looking forward to the Junior game more. Get to watch some hungry Canadian boys play the game the way it should be.

My Nephew is taking me, he has season tickets so it's only costing me beer. We've been planning to do this since Summer. Also helps that my Mother in Law lives in Mount Royal a few blocks off 17th. So walking distance to the Dome. But yeah, I'm probably going to eat it pretty good at the game the way things are going.
