I’ve never seen Matthews put so many shots wide.

Something is off.

He's lost his last three games against the Leafs, he's got a pretty good idea what this team is capable of.

Woll is all.

You deserve a team full of Matt Stajans and Tyler Bozaks again.

If you want to be realistic about a small portion of it, Carlo hasn't figured out how to play here yet either. Laughton also hasn't really blended with his line yet either. Both will take a bit of adjustment and time. Laughton feels like a fit for McMann and Domi on paper at least. Carlo is another story. Would he work better with OEL? Plop Rielly to the third pair with Myers or Benoit? Taking a look at GA/60 for our existing pairs or opportunity pairs, this is what we see (the league average, for context, is 2.24; the best in the league is Bean - Pachal in Calgary with 1.31; Benoit - Timmins was 6th at 1.51

Simon Benoit as a left-side partner

In 56.4 minutes Benoit-Tanev had a GA/60 of 1.06 with a GF/60 of 2.13
In 436.8 minutes Benoit-Timmins had a GA/60 of 1.51 with a GF/60 of 1.51
In 87.7 minutes Benoit-Myers had a GA/60 of 3.42 with a GF/60 of 2.05

OEL as a left-side partner

In 215.7 minutes Ekman-Larsson-Tanev had a GA/60 of 1.11 with a GF/60 of 2.78
In 121.5 minutes Ekman-Larsson-Timmins had a GA/60 of 1.48 with a GF/60 of 2.96
In 23.5 minutes Ekman-Larsson-Myers had a GA/60 of 2.56 with a GF/60 of 2.56
In 78.4 minutes Ekman-Larsson-Benoit had a GA/60 of 3.83 with a GF/60 of 3.06

McCabe as a left-side partner

In 118.5 minutes McCabe-Rielly had a GA/60 of 1.52 with a GF/60 of 2.03
In 476.8 minutes McCabe-Tanev had a GA/60 of 2.01 with a GF/60 of 3.27
In 54.9 minutes McCabe-Myers had a GA/60 of 2.19 with a GF/60 of 2.19
In 117.1 minutes McCabe-Benoit had a GA/60 of 2.56 with a GF/60 of 4.1
In 151.5 minutes McCabe-Ekman-Larsson had a GA/60 of 2.77 with a GF/60 of 3.17
In 49 minutes McCabe-Timmins had a GA/60 of 3.68 with a GF/60 of 4.9

Rielly as a left-side partner

In 40.2 minutes Rielly-Benoit had a GA/60 of 1.49 with a GF/60 of 1.49
In 79.7 minutes Rielly-Timmins had a GA/60 of 2.26 with a GF/60 of 3.01
In 237.2 minutes Rielly-Myers had a GA/60 of 2.53 with a GF/60 of 1.26
In 475.6 minutes Rielly-Ekman-Larsson had a GA/60 of 2.65 with a GF/60 of 2.4
In 139 minutes Rielly-Tanev had a GA/60 of 3.02 with a GF/60 of 3.02
In 29.7 minutes Rielly-Carlo had a GA/60 of 4.04 with a GF/60 of 4.04
In 23.2 minutes Rielly-Hakanpaa had a GA/60 of 5.17 with a GF/60 of 2.58

The conclusions I draw from the above: OEL is below average on the right side, Rielly - in a very small sample size - was tolerable with Benoit and it would reduce his exposure. Rielly - Myers is a bit below league average pairing, but of the available options for Rielly, until they dump his ass, third pairing with Benoit/Myers might be the best way to setup the D.

McCabe - Tanev
OEL - Carlo
Rielly - Benoit/Myers

Ironically, it was Canadian(ish) Sir Sanford Fleming who pushed for global time zones.

Clearly, he is just one of many who are part of the globalist cabal of elites.

Just did a quick read on the guy. Fascinating stuff - major force in getting trans Canada railway built, advocate of communications cable from Canada to Australia and designed first Canadian postage stamp
