Every team goes through a slump in the season... Leafs have been consistent for most of the season with no real slides.. Let's hope this is there 10 game weak part of the season.
- Azuredoom

How's the powerplay going?

Leafs have a history, in the past 5 to 7 years, to see their powerplay efficiency drop significantly right before the playoffs begin and they ride that problem into the first round.

If it's currently not looking good or dropping, I'd start getting worried.

I was just going to come say something similar. They don't really do that as a real threat anymore.

The Oilers and last years playoff scoring machine Evan Bouchard beg to differ!

It’s the lack of guile and unpredictability that kills our PP.

It’s just so captain obvious.

I did like watching Florida's aggressive PK last night. Fun to watch - even though it was killing us.

I actually think Myers has a good shot but I guess they wouldn't put a rookie on PP1.
- Cush29

Why the hell not?
Its not like our vets are great at the pp.

And then the Toronto fans could cheer him on, although that's kinda how they already cheer.

Agreed. Seems like there are too many people on PP1 trying to do the same thing. Take JT or even Willy off PP1, and run Myers for the point shot, Marner as the other 'D' to distribute the puck, park Knies in front of the net, and leave Fatty in his usual spot.

They lost a close game - we must talk about blowing it up now.
This is the way.

- Cush29

OK sure.

Let's see what happens in the playoffs.

Fatty Matty is playing hurt, my guess. He doesn't look nearly as dominant as he should this year.

That's the most frustrating thing for me these last few years. The regular season is just a formality, the ONLY thing that matters is the playoffs. I just want to get there ASAP. And then it's typically over so fast

There was also a good looking young woman in one of the soap operas in the 1980s named Cricket.

Edit: doing some googling, and I found a picture of her and the guy with the worst 1980s hair ever:

Second edit: it's all coming back to me now. The dude is Michael Damian, who had some atrocious pop hits in the 1980s, and according to Wikipedia sang the theme song to Saved By the Bell.

Dude. Michael Damian had some fantastic 80s hair. I'm not saying anyone should do it anymore, but that was Aqua Net to the Max.
