Likely won't happen as he will be the highest paid player on the team

Not very good in the playoffs and might need others around him to make him look good. Who would be his centre in mtl? That should be the Habs focus this off season, getting a centre to replace Dach on the 2nd line at C.

He will get too much money and would not make sense for a team who needs a C in a bad way

i know toronto and all but he makes players around him better. the Hawks won 3 cups with the 3 stooges playing 2C. If Laine could stay healthy or GAF, the 2C just has to know his role.

he isn't leaving the leafs is my guess anyway.

all the talk about Marner leaving is mainly due to the fact that he was asked to raise his NMC so that the laffs could trade for Rantanen, but yeah that doesn't mean the bridge is burnt and that he won't be staying.

there is even some chatter that the hawks are going to go after him. i think it more wistful thinking from guys who are just tired of writing about the hawks getting beat again.

its groundhog day. tho, not having to watch sulk jones mope his way around the ice is nice.

is Florian being used on the PK in Laval and as a shutdown guy..? I doubt he'd be able to replace everything Armia does but he could get there eventually I guess.

and you'd finally have a Xhekaj at the forward position, jfc...

- Pat1993

Yeah he's on the PK

Marner is a great player, very skilled and plays both the PP and PK.

He is mostly a winger, rarely plays center the past few year.

Even though is is usually very good at creating turn overs, the past couple years he is also responsible for turning the puck over at bad times.

He has a severe allergy to physical play hence why he is usually more dominant in the regular season than in the playoffs.

I would take him on my team any day....just not at 12.5-13M/Yr

Good morning.

Today I got Psychocandy by The Jesus And Mary Chain (1985).

Not sure I can handle (from what I remember) the stupid amount of reverb and wailing guitars over basically pop melodies.

i have to admit i love a lot of their songs. i don't know if i would listen to a whole album though (except for honey's dead). but i never had psychocandy. i do remember hearing that it's a good album.
