Hey guys, enjoying the action?

It was confirmed to me by the Habs that I’ll be credentialed next season as well and basically as long as I want, yesterday was a good day!

And i even managed to ask St-Louis a question in the postgame presser (last question): https://www.nhl.com/canad...tt-st-louis-6370214106112

Yesterday was a good day

As much as I would like to make writing/talking/watching the Habs my full time job, it sounds very unlikely I could afford to make that switch right before my kids start going to private high school in a few years.

Rich people problem

Private school in Quebec is very cheap compared to other provinces, it is highly subsidized. You pay what? 5-7K/yr per kid?

One year of private high school in Ontario is between 20 to 35K depending on the school per kid.

You can thank Pete for that...

Your edit is pretty much bang on. I wish I didn't have to send them to private school but the "regular" polyvalente near my home isn't really a viable option. Too much violence, intimidation and other stuff going on in there.

There's a decent chance I might save a few bucks if my little girl decides to get into a public international (you need 80% average to get in) program but she'll get to decide where she wants to go.

My Stepdaughter goes to private school and it's a little less than 5k and she does cheerleading concentration.

A sports/study program in a public school isn't really cheaper

and then there is Ontario with zero subsidy....

but our public schools aren't poop in my area, I don't hear the same issues as you guys have.

Were lucky because we have a couple of public highschools that are viable options here.

The polyvalente is absolute garbage but there's public highschools with sports/study programs and one with an international program that are viable plus two private highschools that are great.

And the public elementary school they go to is brand new and great.
