Why make that gamble? Goalies are (frank)ed. Max value is either very early as a prospect or when they're ripe and ready. Even then, you never get the real value.

Just look at the Florida trade with Chicago. they traded their best young goalie, expected to be a #1 with a 1st for an overpaid struggling RHD
