As clearly stated, not a fan of bacon.

But that would not impact religious beliefs... as I have none.

I believe in Kent Hughes, does that count?

Growing up, I had a very close friend that came from a very religious muslim family.

As a teenager of course, we'd order pizza for gaming nights and stuff and it pissed us off to not have pepperonis or bacon on our pizzas so at some point he caved and he ate plenty for about a year.

As he grow older, unfortunately, he followed in his family's footstep and also became quite religious, it made our relationship more difficult but we still see each other from time to time.

The good thing is, whenever he starts talking about muslim values, I keep reminding him he's going to hell anyway because he ate pork numerous times.

we love you just the way you are.

this also means more bacon for us so it's kind of a win/win.

As gay as this sounds, I am super pro-sausage... with my eggs, 100 times out of 100 times.

does it count with cheese and in a bagel?

it's also not shaped phallically that way.

Yeah, obviously.

Those are the best. Or a sausage, egg and cheese on a biscuit or english muffin.

Not gonna lie, getting a little hard thinking about this... likely because I was too busy to get out and do groceries earlier in the week, so not much for lunch today.

But... Pizza for dinner.

Gonna get some Sausage on that (frank)er, now!

wawa offers the sausage egg and cheese on the bagel, muffin, biscuit, or croissant. and if you're lucky that day sometimes they make them on 2 little pancakes or 2 little waffles.

do you like onions? a lot of people think it's gross until they try it but i do sausage & onion on my pizzas sometimes and it's really good. but you know, you have to like onions and not everybody does.

I could eat a raw onion.

No lie.

Use to eat radishes and scallions / green onions with a bit of salt and/or a French dip, for a snack all the time growing up - especially in the summer when we would harvest them fresh from the garden.

I usually get onions on my pizza... green peppers, mushrooms, sometimes olives, often jalapenos, and then pick between peperoni, sausage and / or chicken.

it's never really given me an issue.

it's probably just nostalgia but i feel like the best sausage and onion pizza was from nick's pizza on friday nights (pizza night!) in my home growing up.

you'd eat your pizza and then go watch the dukes of hazzard.

When I was at university, we had a nice little family owned pizzeria just down the block. Super nice old couple and their kids. Best pizza I ever had, was fairly cheap (they catered to university students), and I have not had anything that comes close to being that good since.

Like you, might just be a time and a place - the nostalgia of it all.
