Dude....I was totally sold on the green crackle....now....I'm on the limited edition train! It's gorgeous.

I just prefer the other pick-ups. But......I've heard great things about the Fishman system.

As soon as i get it....I'm carving your initials in it right on the top!

It's the most romantic way to let you know that I have a knife......

did you watch the video in the article? that girl's out of control.

i googled the pickups when we talked about it before. it's still kind of confusing but i think the active one was more powerful and louder because of the battery. the passive one sounded like maybe older technology or a more traditional tone or something but not in a bad way, just a different way. like, they're very different but you can do a lot of different things with each.

i kind of felt like lead guitar players might want active and rhythm guitar players might want passive.

I find that it's genre-based. Certain styles require a built in noise-gate or noise reduction.....where-as more traditional players like myself will use the volume knob to taper the edges of tone and use it as a natural solo boost or roll it back finding that perfect space where the tone seems to "break".

I would rather that than the black beauty tbh. I've had many Ibanez'. Japanese made are undeniable.

And the neck is actually roasted. So the moisture is eradicated from tht particular piece of wood so you can tour with it and have it year round without the neck absorbing moisture and moving or becoming warped.

don't think I've ever heard of someone so passionate about guitars and yet doesn't play. you should give yourself the time to learn, the payoff would be huge imho since you already appreciate the instrument that much. my 2 cents anyway lol.

wait, the whole neck? interesting. i always thought you just had to worry about what kind of wood the fretboard part of the neck was.

The volume knob all depends on the "pot" (i knew you'd love that yu degenerate!! lmao)

So a 250k pot running your volume knob is a great baseline for starters. Has a great range.

Ad YES!! I've had sex with multiple women!!

I'm just a guitar savant....

i love that color but i've never been a fan of his signature guitar. it's too big or something. but i read that they're real good guitars.

The fretboard is just a mere covering, a veneer as it's such a slim topping. As always...it comes down to the strength of foundation. Which is why multi-pieced necks are used (unroasted) and maple is now being roasted because the hardwood properties are always an undisclosed variable.

The box of chocolates...if you will...
