Spent my whole adult car life loving how RRs look...every 2nd year they got better too..but always bought anything but for that repair issue reason.
Even with that...and wouldn't get a RR without a great warranty...still leaning towards Genesis...or maybe the Benz GLC. I'm a sucker for the luxury poop.
(Smart part of my head is screaming...Minivan spanked out for an apocalypse is the way to go! )
WHo knows. - underhill14
Big fan of the Audi Q5.
And yeah, the minivan is great for families. We had a Honda Odyssey for over 10 years with 3 young kids. There's a great Simpsons episode called 'Homer's Odyssey' about Homer renting a minivan. Hilarious.
My youngest also just got her learner's permit. I've been through it already with her two older siblings so not that stressed about it this time. |

I’m with you but unfortunately my wife thinks she’s to cool for a minivan lol
Saying that we only have 1 kid in a car seat still. The rest are getting older so we’re finally entering a new stage in life where the vehicle doesn’t consist of strollers, car seats and playpens. - bryant
Honestly, some minivans drive like a mid level luxury car. Do some research and rent a minivan for a couple of days, with that many kids, ive heard they are great.
Good on gas for the most part....which should go down on april 1st since carney removed the carbon tax |

I hear ya on that one.
Just some suggestions, I'm looking for a new ride too.
I stuck between Range Rover and Genesis right now. Price and reliability have me leaning Genesis.
Keep you posted.
Besides that, and for all of you other cu(n)ts....great win by the Laffs tonight.
Unexpected. GLG!!! - underhill14
When i was younger i always liked the looked of the range rover discovery series (late 90's - 2000's).
And i looked into a used RR (different kind) but after some research and talking to mechanics....most of the newer RR's are complete garbage. Some look nice, but they are overpriced and unreliable |

We had a Hyundai Entourage for a while when our kids were young - and it was fine. It died around 2020 and we went to get a different vehicle that would be good for transporting the whole damn fam around - which had to consider our two kids and my mother-in-law. We didn't really want another mini-van, as the kids were 12 and 10 at the time. We looked at the Discovery - and without knowing what you said about the quality - were intrigued by it's looks, but it just didn't have the seating and storage capacity we needed. We ended up just settling on another mini-van and got an Odyssey.
I drive it pretty much daily and have no problem with it at all. I don't love parking it in tight places, otherwise it's a solid vehicle.

This is what I am considering.
My decision is probably between the CRV and the civic hatchback (both Hybrid).
The 2025 Civic Hatchback Hybrid is a blast to drive. It feels like a go kart - Aetherial
I drove a 17 year old mazda 3 to work today. it has no power locks or power windows and no ac.

Ya ive heard a lot of good things about the Odyssey, the newer ones are pretty stylish. There were some older versions that looked like an overweight minivan....or maybe im thinking of the sienna? |

Did they at least give the ref the third star of the game for his sick assist on the GWG? |

the leafs used up their one lucky bounce last night. I personally would have saved it for the playoffs, but thats just me

Yeah idk what to think about that game lastnight.
I feel like COL wins that game 55-60% of the time.
Both teams play a very similar game. |

Woll was pretty damn good from what I understand.
But the goaltender is part of the team, so Leafs win!

It wasnt a great game for the leafs but it was an improvement and a nice step in the right direction.
The leafs finally got some bounces their way and were able to shut the avs down. Woll played great, so that was nice to see.
Big test will be to see what they do tonight and how they perform. |

Ours is a 2015; it's not particularly stylish - a lot more boxy. I recall when we first were looking (we bought a used 2007 Hyundai Entourage which was really just a rebranded Kia Sedona) I liked the look of the Nissan Quest - it sort of reminded me of something out of Star Trek. Looking at it now? It looks like another box with slightly fancier windows!
I think newer Siennas and Odysseys both look pretty decent but the older Sienna was definitely more basic-box.

The _feel_ of the game definitely favoured the Avs for me. On Natural Stat Trick, the post game stats say that they outshot us 39-26 but the HD Chances in all situations were 15-15 and the Expected Goals favoured Toronto 3.84 - 3.32.
Moneypuck has the Expected Goals in all situations at 4.4 - 3.6 in favour of the Leafs.
I don't know what I was watching but it sure didn't feel like I was expecting us to be winning that game! I thought, at one point, that we should be losing 5-1 and that Woll was saving our collective asses.

little tidbit on Seth Jones, from Dom
Through seven games the early returns are not great, with a team-worst 39 percent of expected goals while getting outscored 6-1. Even with Aaron Ekblad out, Jones’ minutes in Florida have actually been easier than they were in Chicago
so thats good..for non Panthers fans. bit surprised, as I thought he would be good...but still early |

Not to get all Mitchy Marnery in here, but he did make some insane defensive plays. Matthews was better lastnight too. Them getting in passing/shooting lanes was impressive. I really didn’t see Willy make any noticeable blunders. If the Leafs get good goaltending, and play solid defensively like they did lastnight, there’s a good chance they take home the dub.
Playoff style hockey. |

It was a great all around team effort, and just about everyone stepped up and played their role better than we've seen in a while. These last two games have been a SIGNIFICANT departure from, probably, the last month at least. The team has looked better the last two games than they did at pretty much any point in their recent 5 game win streak. It was a playoff type game, and they gutted out the win.
I like what I saw from Benoit and Robby. Robby still seems to be working very hard to seemingly not accomplish much, but I think his game is rounding into form. |

Flip side on Carlo. good to see, Rielly needs a steady partner
Carlo thriving in Toronto
Elsewhere in the Atlantic, Brandon Carlo has a 62 percent xG rate with the Leafs and more importantly, has been on for just 1.51 expected goals against per 60. While the rest of the team has struggled since the deadline, the Carlo-Morgan Rielly pair looks like an immediate revelation.
After struggling this year in Boston without Hampus Lindholm, Carlo looks like his vintage self. Though it sure helps that his workload has been lessened. With Toronto, the average Offensive Rating of his opponents has been 1.67, down from 1.95 with Boston. It’s a seemingly small drop, but it does make a difference. |

Good news.
But he can turn that around.
So far, Laughton hasnt been that great either, hoping he gets back to the 3rd line and performs well.
Trading a 1st and mid range prospect for someone to play on the 4th line is simply a horrible look |

Gotta move out morgan in the off season - i know, not too probable.
But for years its annoyed me that morgan needs a certain type of dman to play with in order to play well. At $7.5m, he should be the one making his partner look better.
Not the other way around.
Ah well. Hope carlo can continue to help prop him up and be a successful pair |

I've been really happy with Carlo, I think he makes the Leafs a lot harder to play against. I was never sold on Minten even though he may turn into a decent player. But he wasn't what we needed at the moment. We all wanted that big, long, hard D. And, oh, it feels to good to have it. |
