how is it possible you have been watching JT Miller play and say he is declining
he is coming off a 103 point season last year
so what we dont have another 1st round pick, all we do is complain about their development anyway
all we have done is complain about perimeter players and we now have a bulldog who plays straight ahead and it's having a great effect on Cuylle having JT Miller to play with - jimbro83
Again, I love Miller. Always have, it’s well documented on here. Miller is 32 and likely on the decline as are most 32 year olds. Do I think JT Miller will ever have a 100 pt season again? No.
PLD, who was CLEARLY available, at 26 years old was the correct move. Those are the moves/non-moves Drury doesn’t make that make me wonder. He’s mortgaged the future with nothing to show for it. All of our “stars” offensively are all 31+ and on the decline. Not a recipe for success |

Jim, get with the program. The only stats that matter are age, height and weight. - Tonybere
yeah I noticed Cuylle is only 212 pounds, he misses the cutoff of 215 pounds that would make him great

It's all so depressing. We are right back to 21 months ago when we were raging that we care more than the players do.
Tonight's game should have me trying to get as many of my Leaf fan friends over to watch as I can, but instead I find myself wondering what time the new episode of Reacher might drop. - Tonybere
Against a Toronto team that played a hard game last night in Toronto against the Avs.
Whats the official over/under for the Rangers tonight? Not to win or lose, but shots on goal? |

Rangers need a freakin captain. You see it more than ever right now. And it should be JT Miller wearing it - Slimtj100
Miller has zero leadership skills. |

Yes. A team with small defenseman (2 under 6’) hasn’t won the cup in 25+ years. That’s a fact, not an opinion. |

Vaakanainen is gonna be a scratch tonight
considering he is only 205 pounds, maybe he should go to McDonald's and eat like 15 Big Mac's tonight, maybe that will get him up to 215 |

I am curious, since the Kings were hell bent on trading that entire contract away, how we were supposed to take on an 8 million a year player last summer when it's gone on and on and on about how they couldn't get rid of Trouba's contract
in fact, since we know that the Rangers were desperately trying to get rid of Trouba, you don't know for a fact that the Rangers plan wasn't actually to use the money on PLD
that's absolutely possible

Also I guarantee PLD would have been awful on this current roster and everyone would want Drury’s head for taking on another awful contract |

bottom line, because PLD is just another insane nyrangers9479 tangent...
if JT Miller was available as a free agent this summer, I would be all for signing him to a 5 year 40 million dollar deal, which is what he has left
I know other veterans are going to be moving out, I dont mind a player in his 30's like JT on the roster showing the young forwards how the game is supposed to be played |

Yep plus he seems to be getting better with age. I think for at least 3 of the 5 years of the contract he will be a top line point per game player. Maybe he falls to a 2nd line guy the last 2 years but still has value |

I am only concerned with the retool this summer. Drury has to nail it |

Chytil did not accompany Canucks for start of six-game trip that opens tonight in St. Louis. Van is at MSG on Saturday afternoon. |

I like the 215 pound thing though, it's hilarious
let me check me check the weight of all the current Rangers defenseman and pick an arbitrary number a little more than all of them

Not me!
The way we swept them out of the playoffs last spring, the weak effort given by Ovi -- I thought they were DONE! Never thought they would even make the playoffs this season!
Glorious year to be a Caps/Ovi fan! - TommyGTrain
An example of: "you are not as far away as you think." Rangers can certainly have a bounce back season next year.
Adding JT, who plays hard and, in every situation, can't be looked at as a bad thing can it? ...and I am in camp "Fire Drury." This trade was a good one. Credit where credit is due. |

what I want to know is why nyrangers9479 is currently doing what he is doing and NOT employed as a GM anywhere (at any level)...Damn its so easy. |

Im convinced that no matter who the Rangers GM is, even if it was nyrangers9479, that person would continue the Rangers tradition of throwing around draft picks like candy
