Before the last 3 games JT Miller has 18 points in 17 games as a NYR. EP has 12 points in 18 total games since the trade. You could also say 10 games immediately after the trade EP recorded 1 assist during that time and JT Miller with 11 points in those 10 games. Where were you then??? I don’t understand your comment. What are you trying to say? - Awolff9
How do you not understand the comment? It is the stats for the players the last 9 games. I wasnt paying attention to the Vancouver then, we play them today thats why I looked up the stats to compare the 2. What am I saying, thats its been a brutal stretch for Miller after he was anointed the savior. I had agreed that the trade was a win for the Rangers, Miller is better than Chytl yet here we are playing worse. What more do you want? |

If he was on the rangers with that contract and knee injuries with the season he is having it would be a disaster.
Worse than anything Mika gets - nyrangers2
Im not advocating that we should have traded for EP40 instead, No way!! He is Mika 2.0
Like I said before, I just looked at the stats before todays game and saw the difference. |

Who anointed Miller the savior? lol I just think that many on here were very happy with the trade considering Chytils health status and when do players like Miller become available. Also Miller is exactly the type of player this team needs moving forward. We took advantage of a situation where the player wasn’t happy and had full control. Why weren’t you looking at the stats then though? I think it’s pretty convenient to just throw out a stat to fit your narrative that doesn’t show the complete story. Now you’re saying 9 games before you said 5. I think your argument is extremely flawed and more so trying to show your bias of how you feel instead of facts about the entirety of the trade. |

What narrative? I had agreed that the trade was a win for the Rangers, Miller is better than Chytl. Well Miller has one goal in 9 games, that stuck in my mind, sorry to confuse you.
I think you are reading too much into this. |

It’s crazy Sam has been calling games for the rangers since before I was born. We only have 12 more times to listen to him |

Going to miss hearing him. I always said it didn’t bother me as he got older and some of his mistakes became apparent. He’s one of the best all time. |

I’m not trying to come at you but the first comment I see is you saying it’s been ugly for Miller in comparison to EP. I just don’t agree with that statement at all. I think we could look at a 5 game span for Connor Mcdavid who maybe has gone pointless and then compare him Casey Middlestat who went on a 5 game point streak. I don’t think it holds any weight. Miller has been noticeable every game and is a leader in every sense of the word. One of the few players to seem to actually give a f*ck. |

Miller has been good. This team is a complete dumpster fire however. |

Yeah 2 pts out of playoff position. Teams ahead have games in hand, even the islanders. Doesn’t look good at this point. |

I simply dont understand the obsession with making the playoffs.
Do we really need to extend this slow death another 4 games? Also giving the Pens our pick this year which will probably be 15-16. |

This team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs. If they do make it in, they will be swept. |

Thanks for adding those most recent numbers on J.T. & E.P. to my earlier reply to that member, who sees things only through means he prefers in part only for best support to whatever he wants to stir up here. That's what leads to the needless fighting among some members, & in this case since he hates the J.T. acquisition.

For better or worse (I think it will start poorly and end very well) there has to be a massive roster turn over.
I think the potential is there, with the players that could be (and will be) available, to really maximize on it.

Kind of the issue this year is that besides miller they added parsinnen, soucy urho borgen who probably don’t start on any top 10 team except borgen.
This team has a lot of work to do to fill big holes. Miller isn’t mcdavid or mackinnon who could carry a team. They don’t have that type of player anywhere on the roster |

J.T. Miller will be the next Captain of this team, like it or not, if not even liking his acquisition alone. If you want an inkling why, besides his production & leadership on & off the ice since arriving, & his positive effect overall, despite their last 3 game losses; then I suggest you see if there is a MSG video of the closing 1:06 of Thur. night's loss to the Leafs. Watch what occurred at the NYR bench during the timeout, prior to the faceoff after a Leafs icing, with 1:06 left.
You will see Mike Peca say a few words to J.T. for a few seconds, followed by, not Laviolette, but rather J.T. during that timeout doing all the talking and directing of key in closeup view, 4 of the 5 other Rangers skaters in front of the NYR bench, as to what to do on the faceoff & after; with Igor haven already been pulled since the 2:45 remaining mark. The 4 others being Fox, Panarin, Trocheck, & Zib, though Kreider was not shown in the limited on closeup view on the ice until all the players skated to the Leafs faceoff circle after the timeout stoppage ended.
The result was a Rangers 3rd goal with 0:33 left that was tipped in of course in front by Kreider, as if the 6 on 5 were instead per Sam Rosen's 40 years of announcing Rangers games; "IT'S A POWER PLAY GOAL" call.
Congratulations Sam, but it's sad that it had to end the way it appears it will for now; though with 12 games still left to pull off a miracle, but with loads of help needed from teams in other games to assist your beloved Rangers. |

Truly, we should not want to win this game. They need as many embarrassing reminders as possible that this is not the right coaching staff, mix of players, gm, all of it. That and a high draft pick that we get to keep
That’s why I’m not watching anymore games. Can’t root for them to lose if I watch |

To me it’s a lose lose. If they win it’s bad for the future of the team and if they lose I have to watch them lose on Sam’s day |
