Yeah, I’m not one that’s sold on Reinbacher yet. So not sure how much of an upgrade that’s going to be. Excited for Demidov though. I agree we desperately need a second line centre next year.

as the #3C on a 2y deal, I'd take him over Newhook anytime. that would give time to Hage to develop.

The issues with this team aren’t the bottom players. Better top 4 and top 6 is what’s hurting this team.

The big question mark is 2nd line center.

Demigod will make a difference but who plays center with him and Laine?

With a guy like Hutson, could be the perfect defenseman to add.

Habs are very lucky to have Hutson by the way. Should be the Habs number one defenseman for years to come if he can stay healthy. They found that late in the 2nd round.

He is, but Reinbacher was the first defenseman that was pick in that whole draft. Thats not nothing.

I think he will be much better than what fans have in mind.
The guy I have a few ??? is Slaf. He is still young, so lets hope for the best

Not sure any of them get traded.

If they keep Dvorak they have to trade Newhook. I think they are stuck with Dach at this point, but then again his deal is about to end.

yep also what I think.
I could see Demidov and Dach on the 2nd line, just need to find them a center.
that makes Laine expendable.
for the #3C spot I'd prefer Dvorak, much better on faceoffs. that makes Newhook expendable too.

Hard to predict but since it takes value to get value, I’d be open to trading Matheson and whatever if needed to get another top 6 center.

That would create a hole on D but the way the D is built right now ain’t the way forward.

I think Matheson has more value than both on the trade market. Habs also have two first round picks in 2025. That would be more like it.
