meh, I love Hugo's blogs and do find he's great, but there could also be someone else writing about the habs and be good at it, you're just being a giant man baby. - Pat1993
Good job not writing manchild to prevent getting sued by Saaadaellaa.

i actually do manage to find a way to stifle my germaphobia to get high.
i do remember being grossed out by joints because somebody had to use their tongue to seal it. |

The Habs defense needs an overhaul. And it may need to start with firing Robidas. You can’t tell me that he’s the best available for all of this young talent? |

Savard, Matheson gone. That’s 33.3% of your defense. That’s a major overhaul.
If your company replaced that percentage of employees…..you’d think the same.
We have Hutson. No need for Matheson now. I’m sure Reinbacher will play 6 games then be out with injury.
Savard is a wind bag in this system. I wouldn’t even entertain the idea of him being even a 7th. Onwards and upwards. If he wants to mentor the youth then go by way of Pauly Biron then.
Jackeye and Strubke are hot and cold on any given night.
Have you not been watching this season? (I know you have lol)
Instead of trading for duds like Dach and Newhook, trade for young defenders around 25 like Dobson. Or the hot and cold play will continue. |

ok, well if you're already assuming this then I guess there is no point in saying he's going to be a solid piece for the habs on the backend for years to come. they're the 2nd youngest team in the league, Struble I find is playing really well, Hutson might win the Calder, they'll be totally fine. to each his own.
edit: also, "no need for Matheson"...? why? |

Oh we have great pieces back there. But this offseason, that along with 2C really needs to be addressed. And I’m only going on precedence with Reinbacher.
He’ll be solid only if he can stay healthy. Remains to be seen.
Struble is playing fine NOW. How has his total season looked? Same with Jackeye.
They look lost half the time and I’m thinking it may be attributed to Robidas? Not entirely sure if he’s the best person for that job.
Just some personal thoughts, I’m still positive about the progress. But when this defense (frank)s up…..it’s BAD! And more times than not, they can’t recover after lapses. |

yeah, I'd say they did pretty well all things considered with Guhle out. of course it isn't perfect but a lot of it is due to a lack of experience imho. I really don't see a need for an "overhaul", that's for sure. |

No need for Matheson because we have Hutson. Matheson would be better off on another team and the Habs use him in a package to get better while he’s on a friendly deal. There are younger, better options out there to help us more ON the ice. He’s not the best example on-ice.
