that's because he is not in the right chair. Matheson is a decent #3 or #4, not a #1. not his fault we do not have better than him to take that spot.
like when Koivu was our #1C. can't really blame the players.

You exposed yourself once you said the chair theory.

It’s just a different way of explaining your desire for upgrades because of ineptitude

And of course, lack of depth and experience

Maybe Suzuki should have told Hughes to trade the pending UFAs away, no heart and tired group

You guys think Sam Bennett will be a good 2C for the Habs? He has grit but I dont know if he is the 60-65 point guy this team needs. Plus his numbers past few years are skewed playing for FLA

in fact that team needed help to make the playoffs, we all knew it. Hughes decided not to move and we see the results slowly but surely. one has to wonder if he wanted them to make it.
also Armia is injured, he's just good at defending for now. sit his ass down! call up a few kids. that line used to generate some offense, not anymore.
ca manque un peu zip sur la glace, mais dans les bureaux aussi imo

He gave a chance to the current group as it is, they could have sold a few players and yet did not. That was the help

He did not want to add some rentals for picks and he was right not to fall for that. If they make the playoffs, great. If they miss, oh well. They will be better next season with Demidov and Reinbacher. And whatever moves that they do during the off season.

They are not there yet, but this season has been better overall.

yeah, I'm afraid you're way below market price here, especially with the cap going up.
wouldn't be surprised to see him get 5x9M

but you have all the answers..!!

you should at least give them a call, maybe they could hire you as a special advisor, so that you don't have to be there all the time.

If that's the case no thanks, that will also place him above Suzuki
