Joe Micheletti didn’t hold back after giving up that tying goal in the 3rd. I loved it. Basically yelling how do you allow a 4 on 2 with 1:30 left when you have a lead. Calling out all the forwards for refusing to back check at all. It was real eye opening where this franchise is right now

And it started right away in 3rd period when Joe pointed out don’t take chances you are up 3 to 1.

That was something else. Definitely goes up in the “anals” of losses I have ever seen in the 50 years I am watching this team.

Yep exactly. I do wonder if this team really doesn’t want to play playoff hockey this year. Along with JT Othmann was the only forward in the top 9 skating hard and trying and Lavi refused to give him any minutes lol

I know he won’t be traded because he is best friends with JT but Trocheck has just been awful all season. No way he should be the next captain of this team like a lot of people think he should be

I have never seen a coach go from leading a team to a presidents trophy to looking like the worst coach in the NHL the next year

Fell asleep last night, woke up to watch the third, (frank)ing terrible.

"Good teams do not lose a game like that," Fox said.

They dont and this team is terrible, no heart. Its like opening a hood on a car and there is no engine and transmission. What do you do with it?

Watching the Ducks play, it gives their fans hope for the future, watching the Rangers play doesnt inspire any hope for me.

Will Borgen has a 41.3 xG% since signing a 5-year, $20.5 million extension

Lucky us, what a bargain!!

Me and the family were at the game. I just can't believe how many times this team has blown a 2 goal lead in the 3rd period this year, and this time in the last 6 minutes. I could rant, but don't want to waste that much energy on this team

Im still baffled by this extension. The guy played like 6 games and Drury said, yep thats my guy!. Since this is the guy they traded Kakko for, probably felt like he had to do it.

Thats how I feel too.

The guy just got here and you extend him for 5 years?? Like WTF?? Borgen was playing 15 minutes a night in Seattle and Drury said "Oh yes my cornerstone defense man!!" (frank)ing idiot.

Hopefully the next coach can get more out of him but otherwise ugh! what a contract.

It’s like was this on purpose or something as a Trouba protest? lol. I’m no conspiracy theorist or anything but….
- jimbro83

It just may be that, on top of a Goodrow mishandling protest which we may see tonight especially should, (imagine this), Barclay net a hattrick against them.

They had to be aware coming in, (or were Lavy & Co. not??), of the Ducks' just two nights prior manhandling throughout of the struggling Bruins in a 6-2 win in firing nearly 40 SOG, with some of the same NYR killers also leading the way then. The only difference being Igor once again giving them a chance to win.

I was going to say Goodrow scores to break a 3 3 tie but a hat trick would be probably his first.

I never smoked during my lifetime. The way this season has progressed, it wouldn't surprise their die hard fans if Goodrow were to net 3 against them tonight. I'm shocked you replied that way, with you haven given up hopes for them for the season at some point on here in the past 2 weeks, per your various comments made in relation.

Imagine PITT getting a top 5? Top 3? Pick next year from us??? Would just add to Drury’s illustrious legacy.

This season will be a blessing in disguise someday.

Last night I thought Laf and Miller started showing some real chemistry. If they build on something now for next year that’s a positive summer thing we’ll never talk about

Serious question. If PITT got the 5th overall pick from us next year, you’d still be ok with all of this?

I think they will give the pick this year regardless

All you guys think about is scratch off tickets. Thats what these picks are, lottery tickets. You go on and on and on and on about it, meanwhile the pick will suck anyway. So yes, I’ll take the sure thing in JT Miller.

But hate the trade for the next decade idgaf
