Remind me how many minutes Accairi gets with Sid? - Grinder47
Well according to you that shouldn’t matter and if Sid’s getting frustrated then Acciari’s main job when jumping over the boards should be to run guys in retaliation, which he has never done throughout his entire career so you can’t blame that on Sullivan. You just make stuff up about guys depending on whether you want to like guys or not and we all know what your pattern is there |

Well Accairi has fought on every team he’s ever played professionally on until Pittsburgh, not Sullivan? But I’m making stuff up. Sullivan’s never scratching Rust. |

He did lay Hedman out directly after Hagel ran Gryz. Accairi is scratch able and Sullivan has a no fighting rule, unless it’s Boko, Sid or someone he can’t scratch. I do find it funny Boko has a mysterious bicep tear the day after getting double minors and a 10 in a blowout. |

St Ivany fights for Sid, sent down after. I’m making all this up of course. Just play. |

So there's a rule only you know about that says Boko can fight but Acciari isn't allowed. Seems legit.
Man got paid so he doesn't feel a need to fight anymore. |

St Ivany's game needed a lot of work and he didn't need to clear waivers. (Unlike all the Pens defenseman who need a lot of work but would have to go on waivers). Hopefully it was what he needed to develop his game. That's why you have a minor league team. |

Second line looks pretty good but definitely very much due to Rakell. Rakell is flying tonight |

Nvm. Rut Mcgrut shouldn’t try to fight anyone. He should just try to play shift without getting knocked down or extremely winded. Dudes (frank)ing huffing and puffing every shift. |

Any idea how Boko hurt his biceps? That's not a standard hockey injury. |

So far Koivunen seems like he’s ready for a shot. Nothing overly impressive but he doesn’t look out of place on our best line tonight and has been a confident shooter.
McGroatry is playing sloppy and nervous. He either has the jitters or he thinks the game too slow for this level. If it’s the former, fortunately for him he’ll probably get an extended look regardless to sort it all out due to the state of the team, because if this were a competitive team he’d probably get sent right back down again. |

Koiv looks pretty decent. Mcgroarty is a dumpster fire out there. Slow weak and dumb is how I would describe his game at this point. |

I worked with a guy that tore his bicep simply sliding a sheet of 1/2 in drywall like 2 ft. It was shocking because he was like a health freak lifter guy(kind of a wussy though). He said after no matter how much muscle you build the poop that connects it to the bone never gets stronger. So the bigger the bicep the more likely it is to tear it. |

Yeah athletes rip muscles. Just happens sometimes, and they’re not always immidiately identifiable |

Hopefully it’s just jitters. If he just can’t think the game at the NHL level, that’s not something that’s fixable. |

Well like I said, lucky for him he’ll have an extended chance to sort it out because this team sucks. Lucky for us too I think because I don’t think what I saw today can really be improved on at the AHL. Either he gets better in the NHL or he doesnt |

I've competed at a high level at powerlifting and (Olympic) weightlifting. You can definitely strengthen your tendons, which is what happens when you train properly.
You commonly see biceps tearing off the bone in guys on gear, since the PEDs increase the size and strength of the muscles at a rate that the tendons can't keep up with -- but it's super rare in natural lifting. (It's possible with terrible over-under-grip deadlift technique.)
With hockey, it's just hard to picture what would put that much stress on the biceps specifically, and I can't recall ever hearing of a severe biceps injury in the NHL before. It must've been a freak accident of some kind I would think. |

I thought he was definitely skittish the first half the game when he looked like the game was too fast for him. Played much better in the second half. Made some nice passes. Backchecked. Really liked that he went to the net a bunch. I thought both had enough good moments to be optimistic.

He struggled his first 10 games in the AHL and then adjusted. Hockey smarts are considered a strength so if that's the concern he should be fine. |

I don’t know man. I’m just work strong. But I’d guess it happened when he fought Olivier. Or it’s made up and Sullivan wanted to bench him for the Hagel situation but didn’t want to bench a favorite in the Locke room so he gave him the ultimatum. |
