I think his issue is he always has the pass first mentality and gets caught in between. Not decisive enough but is what makes him hard to predict as defenders too. He doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Ya that’s what I was thinking with the pass first mentality. He’s looking for deflections probably 75 percent of the time because he doesn’t have the shot to beat a goalie. Whereas Matthews and nylander have rockets so they’re thinking shot first and not looking for deflections.
