It’s mind boggling he can’t see they are so good on the pk cause they play zone but he refuses to change the man to man defense 5v5. And he wonders why the defense never improves lol - TPC
They've scored more shorthanded goals than PP goals in this most recent stretch. That's so wild. |

He was practicing at RW with Laf and Miller - picklerick
Ok so daily faceoff has it wrong. I see that now. I did look at that and I’m like wtf I thought he was a RW[/img] |

I was at the game when they had the cap concern and kept two players on the bench the whole game, I think one was Schneider, to have enough cap space to get Kane, and then Kandre got tossed early in the game.
That was nuts
K’andre has taken several step backs since Lavi-Housley arrived - jimbro83
Emery could be the perfect partner for Miller |

Yea makes no sense. And both Kreider and zib look like all stars when they play pk |

I think when he was drafted, the "experts' said he can play either wing but is more comfortable on the L |

Keeping players on the bench does not impact cap space. It was because they didn't want to risk injuries |

Wasn’t Schneider hurt? But they didn’t have enough cap space available to call someone up from the ahl due to Kane. In order to meet the minimum player requirement they had to dress Schneider even though he couldn’t play |

He wasn’t hurt. But if he got hurt, they couldn’t send him down “on paper” after that game which is how they saved the cap space. Carpenter also |

Dont mean to intrude on a playoff race with draft talk - but what is your guys' read on what the Rangers will do with their 1st round pick if its a lottery pick? It seems pretty straightforward - the Rangers expect to be contenders this year and beyond so youd think they'd hold onto the pick this year and give up next year's pick, but any concern about giving up an unprotected pick given injury risk/being in the same situation next year? |

I think that the Rangers will think they will be good next season and will choose to keep the pick this year if it’s anywhere in the top 13

That was my thinking as well. If the pick is 13-15, it would probably be worth giving up so that you have your first to trade next year if youre contending or to keep if you are out of the playoff picture. Not worth the risk IMO.

Last pick we had in the top 13 was Derrick Pouliot in 2012, so even with a new regime, I dont feel great about us drafting so early unless its top 3. |

There needs to be a player, really in any sport, that is a top 5 pick with the last name of Bust. Like Jani Bust or something like that. Billy Bust haha
That’s some serious pressure on that young man |
