Do you guys think we will see him play 20 games for Habs next year? Will see how he does with Laval

Unless injuries are pilling, I can't see it. Goalies tend to take a bit longer, he needs mileage in the AHL

yup, the situation Dobes is in right now isn't necessarily ideal in terms of development.

Habs might have 3 rookies already making the team next season with Demidov, Kapanen and Reinbacher. Fowler can develop one year in the minor and see how it goes.

Nice work as usual Hugo.

Man, if they could go on a little run here and leap frog OTT, that would be ideal..

Pretty much. You can basically count 20 year old goalies that played more than like 5 games in the NHL on one hand.

Yeah, I kept hoping Ottawa would crumble so we'd have a chance but it seems less and less likely.

yeah, I don't think that has any influence though on what they'll be doing concerning their goaltending.

Can anyone give a comparable when it comes to Reinbacher? I haven't seen him play (only highlights) and wondering what he brings and why he's so coveted.

And not JUST because he's a RD.

style of play...Pietrangelo. Not saying he will that good but similar style is what I read. Biggest issue with Rein is his knee.

yep, pretty good comparison imo. big, mobile, good IQ, good defensively, can chip in offensively but that won't be his forte. perfect partner for Hutson going forward imo.

Thanks! That's very helpful. He's been injured so much that he's kinda slipped through the cracks for me.

He needs to play and stay healthy, he is not developing at the moment. Hopefully he can fully recover.

Will Suzuki get to 90pts?

He is at 81pts with 7 games left, he's on fire lately.

I'm sure he'd prefer the Habs to get to 90 pts.

He can dance at the same place as the team on their way to 90pts

I'm more interested by Hutson tbh.
if Suzuki doesn't reach 90... he'll do it next year no doubt.
but Hutson breaking the Murphy record for most assists by a rookie dman would be quite special.
