I don't think they're tanking, but they are severely shorthanded.
- Whipper

It might be close. I think Ottawa only get 6 more points. The same for FLA.
well if I was a betting person.

Everyone knows you're a piece of poop, you don't get to change that by acting like you have a line where you're suddenly on a moral high ground.

You're 10 minutes removed from looking to bury someone's credibility by chirping about their age. You're a waste of skin man child who acts like a moronic teenager on here daily. You're one of the biggest most legendary morons in the literal history of this site, embrace it.

Yeah, point proven.

I can't even fathom being stupid enough to go "oh hey, I know how a grown adult would respond. Here's this gif of a cartoon character rubbing his nipples."

Ok Grimey.

Hey, thanks for not talking about children for once. Baby steps, but you can overcome your urges. Just keep listening to your therapist.

Take your medication, regularly. Cease the white claws and only navage in moderation. Turn your hearing aids down and get some rest. Repeat for a week.

Small chance you'll be less of a (frank)ing idiot, you'll still be a little female dog but you may still thank me for the idiot part if you can get there.

Gross ending to that game.

Wonder if they going to be bi-polar all year.

- Cush29

Horrible.
No clutch hitting from vlad or santander and schneider leaves little for 1 player too many.

Gonna be a long season again

Ottawa doing it on goaltending this week. They can't keep this up. Montreal looks like they have what it takes to get in, as well. Rangers get Tampa 2 more times. Hope for a split. If Leafs can take a point from either Florida or Tampa this week, they might be poised to take 1st in the division. I think Florida will still stay ahead of Ottawa, but it might be close. Florida soon needs to get some of their injured players some games before the playoffs. Let's just get through the state of Florida unscathed and then it's time to rev it up. Why is it necessary for Carolina to have a 5PM game, with the Leafs having to travel the night before? Guaranteed loss.

Did you really think things would actually change for his team? All this organization is good at is producing hype. They're below average in talent. Their coaching is subpar. Their front office is a disgrace. Their scouting is garbage. No one wants to play here. So, get used to a long summer of losing.

Nice win & a solid performance.
On top of it all doing the Habs a solid.
GL on getting everything in full gear & ready for the PO’s. Needing & getting 1st place goes a long ways for avoiding the Florida gauntlet.

Couldn't agree more. Tampa looks like the harder of the two teams to beat. Florida is banged up and Aaron Ekblad is suspended until game 3 of the playoffs. Leafs need to get to first and hope for a long series for the Florida based teams. Ottawa is no slouch but seem to be winning recently on goaltending. They had no business beating both Florida teams this week but did. It should make for a great first round in the playoffs. Montreal will give Washington a run for their money.

A prediction for the Eastern Conference, if these standings stay the same.

Leafs beat Ottawa in 6

Tampa beats Florida in 7

Washington beats Montreal in 6

Carolina beats New Jersey in 5

6 games each, Florida is up by 4 points and leading significantly in Regulation Wins (the first tie-breaker). So in those 6 games, if Florida (who play Detroit twice, the Rangers, Buffalo, Toronto and Tampa) go 3-3, Ottawa would need to go 5-0-1 to pass Florida. If Florida goes 2-4, Ottawa would still need 4-1-1 against Columbus twice, Montreal, Carolina, Philadelphia and Chicago. It's possible - but Columbus and Montreal are both motivated right now, and Carolina is good. It feels like a 4-2 finish is completely plausible for them, though - so is 4-1-1 out of the question? Is 5-0-1?

It does seem unlikely - but Ottawa has been playing great and Ullmark has been exceptional of late.

Our boys are heading to the golf tee. That said it was earned but these PO’s have plenty of story lines that should make for real great action. Here’s to hoping for many long & intense series throughout all the match ups. The more the better to drive up interest in the USA over the NBA. 🍺

I agree, possible, but unlikely. Leafs and Sens it is. Prepare to be be trolled by Sh!tso. On a different note, with all the energy and attention to OV and the goal record, I predict the Habs will beat the Capitals in the first round.
