You have a certain "Je ne sais quoi" in your ability to get your point across, I respect that - haha.

I've been busy lately; although Columbus is a nice city and it's close to where I'm doing some work right now, my wife was not a big fan of the cold. So we bought another house in the Metro Phoenix area and subsequently moved. Thus I haven't been around much to share in your misery.

I have posted a bit on the Flyers thread and over in the Utah Hockey Club section of HF Boards.

Yup.

What's shakin fellas? So much to unpack with this organization this year, to say it's been a disappointment would be an understatement.

My interest in the team has been waning over the last few years, although I'll always follow them to some degree as it's where I'm from, last year was pretty damn entertaining though! The organizational drama just got to be too much this year and the poor performance that came with it reflects so poorly on ownership & management. I think they finally broke my spirit.

Anyways, have a great summer everyone. I hope Aquilini sells the team, Rutherford retires, Tocchet moves on, and they make some huge on-ice organizational player changes for the sake of the fans of the Canucks.

Have a great summer as well thx for the pop-in. My home course opens this Tuesday and the Mountain bike trails/parks are getting cleared so hopefully a full summer of outdoor activities.

Concerns about Rutherford were warranted when he was hired and I can see Tocchet in Philly soon. After witnessing this MNGT group operate this season can't see why Tocchet would want to stay. Gonna be some changes. Boeser gone to make room for a run at Bedard? Stranger things have happened...

Anyways play golf and relax good thing you stayed in the States. Don't want to be in Canada for what might be coming but a topic for another day. Cheers dude.

Are you thinking the back & forth banter on the political thread chased me away? If you are, you have no clue who I am. I've been on this board for almost 20 years, if you think a little heated banter is chasing me away, you haven't been listening for as long as you've been here. I've had many disagreements over the years with people, that was relatively minor. Some of the old days when I got into it with Booner were absolute classics - lol. You're giving yourself way too much credit.

I promised Makita I wouldn't talk politics on the hockey thread though, I don't plan on breaking that deal.

PS: one thing I did take away from conversations over there, I spend too much unproductive time on the internet, in general, which also had some bearing on me taking a break from HB.

Playing tomorrow with a couple buddies from Red Deer that spend the winters here, should be a fun day.

Nice have fun down there. Hit it long and straight lol. I swapped 3 woods this season went back to a Ping SFT 410 3 wood and cut my driver shaft by 1" and refitted a different shaft. I hit my buddies cut down driver late last season and loved it. Lost no distance but gained ball flight and accuracy. Planning on playing more this year so....
