While calling Gretzky a traitor and an American.

- Rare_Jewel

He literally is an American.

And a traitor to Canada.

Idiot.

It's a defence mechanism - the USA won't invade if they know they'll have to face that weather.

Ottawa>>>Stalingrad.

Yes, because he's not an idiot. Anybody who has the ability to legally become an American, should become one. He's a naturalized dual citizen.

It's also a fact he was born and raised in Canada and has never renounced his Canadian citizenship which is a fact you're stupidly disputing because your moronic leftist echo chamber has told you to do so and you gleefully comply like the useful idiot you are.

Leafs best path to success is getting Ottawa in the 1st round. Leafs own the Sens the way the Bruins own the Leafs and the Habs own the Bruins.

Then, with some luck, Tampa Bay takes care of Florida for us and we avoid them completely.

Tampa Bay still has the best stats and should win the division, while Florida could continue to sink and the Leafs could play Ottawa with home ice advantage.

Would be nice to avenge our playoff loss to Montreal in the ECF but odds are, because this is the Leafs we're talking about here, it'll be the revenge of Keefe and the New Jersey Devils. Or Carolina. Two teams the Leafs have always sucked against in the playoffs. Washington also beat the Leafs back when they first returned to the playoffs with this core.

Useful idiot, try hard to read the following sentence slowly and carefully.

He's a naturalized dual citizen; he's a Canadian-American.

Probably, but seeing so many failures in the past I don't have any rational thought what is better and what is not. We wanted Columbus too and how it ended?
I hope Leafs can beat any team they have to play in round 1/2/3.

Leafs don't have much playoff hope or success to speak of but historically, they can at least say they've always owned the Senators in the playoffs.

I wouldn't expect it to be a 4-0 sweep, but if we're talking about the "easiest" path, Ottawa is preferred.

They're a hard working team, I wish the Leafs played more their style more often, and they beat the Leafs many times this season but it's the playoffs and the Senators have never beat the Leafs in the playoffs.

Ullmark falls apart in the playoffs, just like Lalime and every other Sens goalie the Leafs demolished in the past, even when they were the top seeded team.

If the Senators beat this Leafs team in the playoffs, it truly is the sign this core is done for. Or, at least, should be the sign that Shanahan needs to be fired even though he should have been canned years ago.

So you completely ignore the facts because you need it to fit your leftist nationalist narrative?

I just love watching leftists like you bend and twist yourself into a pretzel of contradictions after hating "nationalists" and then quickly becoming one so quickly.

Let's be honest, the playoffs are a murders row. There are no easy teams. All things considered, I'd rather play Ottawa than Florida or Tampa. Florida was severely shorthanded, and still gave the Leafs all they could handle. It would be devastating if they dropped into the wildcard spot, and then got healthy.

But the Leafs are a better built team than they've been in likely decades. They need to play their game, and they have a shot to go deep.

So you don’t think he’s American?

Is he or isn’t he American?

Simple question.

Yes or no.
