Aggressively insult someone, ignore facts you don't like and base your arguement on ridiculous, and incorrect statements/understandings.

1) They were not all illegal, sorry.
2) Go read the 5th and 14th amendment. Or just read what judges have had to say about due process.
3) Even if you accept that somehow the Alien Enemies Act allows them to ignore due process, that act was not used against all of them.
4) Even the WH admits that one of the people (at least) was innocent, and legal, and was sent there anyway.

How about the Canadian woman detained for 10 days? She was apprehended applying for a work Visa... not illegal, no due process.

There are many other examples, if you can be bothered to read.

Even when the law authorizes the president to detain people, historically the Supreme Court has held that those people should receive notice of the reason for their detention, and they should have a fair opportunity to rebut the government’s claims.

When the high court, for example, heard cases about the rights of detainees held in Guantanamo Bay by President George W. Bush after 9/11, it ruled that principles of due process apply to noncitizens and even those whom the government designates as enemy combatants.

How do you know they are in the U.S. illegally or that they are convicts and not American citizens who haven’t broken any laws? Without any kind of due process or legal review people are being thrown into hellhole prisons just on the word of ICE. The government has already admitted in court that they sent somebody they shouldn’t have by mistake.

You either accept providing legal rights to people you don’t like or you can expect to lose those rights yourself.

I really get a kick out seeing all these “too much government” types get on board with straight up authoritarianism

You really should pay attention to what’s going on in your country. People are having student visas revoked because of things they wrote in student papers. Academics coming for for research meetings are being turned back because they were critical of cuts to science and research programs. Countries are issuing travel advisories warning about travel to the U.S.

People can discuss anything and anywhere they want, but I have an option to not take part of it too. This slide was fan to watch, almost like Nail Yakupov after meaningless goal. Everyone had a fan and this is most important.
The whole celebration was classy, everyone was super nice.
