I do and I remember thinking what BS it was. I feel like the GM's may have looked at or pointed at that one and said "we need to fix that".
I read the league is going to try and address this loophole in the new CBA negotiations apparently - that will be interesting. - Cush29
They really need to negotiate it. Obviously the easiest answer is teams must be cap compliant in the playoffs, although the NHLPA will fight that tooth and nail.
Other ideas would have to involve playing a certain number of games during the season or between the trade deadline and the end of the season to e eligible.
Maybe we see a scheme where the cap applies but teams can use a small% of injury man games missed between trade deadline and end of season to go over the cap in the playoffs in the playoffs. |

Agreed.
Marty at 125 and next closest "modern" goalie is Hasek at 81. Thank you to the Jersey Trap game.......
Plus the league wants more goals and will continue to make changes to try and do so which really reduces the odds. - Cush29
Luongo and Fleury played over 1000 games and couldn't sniff it. Goalies start later and later (23 is usually the youngest age). Unless there's some wunderkind at some point, I doubt we'll even see goalies every hit 1000 games, let alone something like 800. |

So far, it's been great. I think we are about 10 episodes into the first season. - Atomic Wedgie

Welcome to the streaming world. Every movie needs to be bloated and over 2 hours. Every show needs filler. Only way they can bamboozle their share holders with their "hours watched" metrics. |

Charney is really a globalist but he had no trouble stoking nationalistic instincts in Canadians. Sadly, he could be the leader Canadians deserve. An entitled, elitist, self-righteous, dishonest hypocrite.

There's that and that goalies are playing what as a starter now? 50 - 60? Back then it was expected to do 70ish?

Just started season 3 last night. I'm having a tough time getting into it. - Aetherial
It starts slow. Just stick with it, by episode 3 you’ll be hooked. Episode 6 it peaks |

I appears right under Marxist, socialist and communist in the idiots book of nonsense arguments.
Just give him a moment to look it up on the interwebs and he will tell you what it means. |

I liked it. There were some parts that looked at the human element of the town and perhaps those were a little slow. I liked the concept though and the story is pretty interesting some very good, dramatic sports scenes which are all the more interesting because they actually happened. |

lol. I wanted HIM to define it!
The funniest argument they still make which proves just how out of touch they are, is that protests are organized and paid for by George Soros LMAO..
Literally the richest man in the world (ignoring Putin - actually maybe he bought DT, too) bought the US president and is paying people the “vote” (he gave $1M to a conservative organizer at a college and said it was random), and it cutting funding for social programs (which Trump voters largely benefit from) so he can funnel money to himself in form of tax breaks. All of this out in the open. Market manipulation in broad daylight.
It’s a cult. There’s no better way to describe what this is. |

I went to Wales for a couple of high school rugby tours in the 1980s.
In 1985, I stayed with a Welsh miner's family - this was just after the Welsh miner's strike, which went on for a year. Perhaps the kindest people I have ever met.
So I really like the human element. It really hits me how Wrexham has never really recovered from their economic heyday (which was never really all that great to begin with).
And it's very interesting to me because my brother-in-law is from Chesterfield. Their soccer team (go Spireites!*) went through the exact same thing - relegated to the National League, eventually winning their way back to the Second Division.

*Named after the crooked spire on the church in town. If that doesn't intimidate other teams, I don't know what would. |

What does “the Lord” say about a wealthy narcissist who cheats on his pregnant wife with a porn star while frauding a charity that raises money for kids with cancer, and selling Bibles with his name on it, and was best friends with the worlds most notorious paedophile for 10 years, and encites a riot to overturn elections, and purposely crashes world markets to help his billionaire donors, or gives weapons to support a genocide?
More importantly, what does the it say about people who blindly follow a man like that? Be realistic, if the rapture happened tomorrow do you really believe you’ll be going to heaven? If so, you’re in a cult.
