Do we have an over/under for how big Vlad will get now that he is signed for 14 years.

500 lbs? 450?

Rethinking this ....for those of us wanting the Battle of Ontario, we want the Leafs to win in OT tonight.
- The Law

I'd say a loss in OT is a better outcome, TBH.

I wonder if the Leafs would start the Playoff on the 22nd .
I guess it would depend on building availability

- dmnted

Noodles on overdrive said last week he heard the leafs are starting Monday the 21st.

The playoff format SUCKS. It should go back to the top 8 teams in the east with division winners getting the top 2 seeds. I know for a fact I'm not the only one that feels strongly about this. Hell, the entire Sabres organization has boycott the playoffs all together since they changed to the division matchups format.
- Hatboro_Swords

Agreed, the playoff format is absolutely ridiculous and kudos to the Sabres for taking a stand against it.

I'm an atheist and a Leafs fan (which go together well, because no god would make people suffer this badly).

I need a schedule so that I can plan Thanksgiving family dinner - my two brothers married Catholics who kinda take the weekend seriously.

He's been raised on Montreal hot dogs. Can't blame him.

FYI, Catholics know it as Easter, not Thanksgiving.

Accordingly to SportsNet:
Captain Aleksander Barkov, scoring leader Sam Reinhart and defenceman Gustav Forsling will re-enter the Panthers lineup for Tuesday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, head coach Paul Maurice told reporters after morning skate.

Few weeks ago many were stressing that the Leafs may not lock up 1st.

Now the stress is that they may do so and Florida may fall to a WC spot and meet the Leafs.

I say WGAS just control what you can, keep playing well and beat whomever you get.

All that being said I'd like to see the Battle of Ontario again, not because I think Ottawa will be an easier opponent because let's not forget how teams in the playoffs play when they are on house money and have zero expectations vs a Leafs team who is 'favored to win" more so just because I think it would be great to watch.

I'm tired of seeing the Leafs play the same teams in round one (even though Boston is not in the mix this year).

The Leafs other advantage against Ottawa is the fanbase showing up in mass in Kanata. Just waiting to see if this matchup happens, so I can get tickets. Not far for me, being in Kingston. I was there for the last 4 series they played in the early 2000's. The Leaf fans occupied half the building. Fantastic atmosphere.

Maurice is right when he says there’s no point in fighting for 1st place.

I dont care who they play in the first two rounds. It’s going to come down to will and determination. All that matters is that they’re in the right headspace for the challenge.

Leafs should use reverse psychology and take out Matthews, Marner, Tanev and Willy. Then the Bobcats can have their win but not beat the best Leafs team available. Then load up against Tampa on Wednesday.

If I'm doing the math correctly, if the Leafs win tonight in regulation time, Florida can't catch us.

We'll have 100 points with 5 games left.

Florida will have 92 points with 4 games left.

The only way they could catch us would be if we lost all remaining games, and they won all remaining games.

We would be tied at 100 points, but we would win the first tie-breaker, as we would have more regulation wins than them.

Huge game for Scabby tonight.

If the Habs can beat Detroit, it would take a Leafsesque choke job for them to miss the playoffs.
