A hard ass coach would bag skate them in practice, how many practices do they have left?
The free agent class is thin this year, nobody on the list screams gotta sign him and all of the league knows how Drury treats his players.
Yesterday on the NHL channel Steve Kouleas had I think Jim Cerny on as a guest and he broke down the Rangers season and basically said it was the Trouba trade that did it. Seems Trouba was a big influential and respected voice in the locker room and when he was traded nobody was able to fill his void. - Brukie
Used to want Kreider to wear the C, he's really shown that he's checked out.
I think JT will have it next season. Give Cuylle an A. |

I will simply say this about Trouba - he’s been incredible with the young D - Zellweger- LaCombe - Mintyukov - Helleson not only on how to prepare and really level up every shift … but with the way you handle the adversity. - ie - being scratched - having the correct frame of mind. Talking to guys around the team his influence is really paying dividends-
Even the young F’s have benefited from his professionalism… we needed someone like him badly -

I think Lavy wants out. Cant blame him. The team, especially the "leadership", are just mailing it in. Coach can't make players care. We will get a new coach, probably still have the same garbage leadership on the ice next year, and people will blame the coach again. Wash rinse repeat

It’s why I always laugh when people argue who should be the next captain. I always hope someone not currently in the organization lol |

I know Kreider and zib take most of the blame from
The fanbase but Trocheck has been crap all season. If it wasn’t for being BFFs with JT Miller he should probably be gone |

Whether you believe Drury has done a good, decent, bad job doesnt really matter going into the off-season. I think the important thing is what do players around the league think of Drury. With how Goodrow went down, Trouba, all the heat around Zib in January… as far as what we know… can really affect whether or not players sign in NY. THAT ultimately is what we need to worry about. Availability is one thing, whether or not players choose to sign the contract or waive their clauses to come here is another. If players dont want to come here because of Drury, he needs to be fired along with Lavy. |

Id pass on Miller too, he was Captain in Vancouver and couldnt make amends with his teammate. Yeah Yeah I know not everybody gets along but as Captain its up to you to find a way to make amends. I know people will disagree with me but thats just my opinion. Yeah he plays hard but you dont get to be Captain just because you play hard. |

Sens fans should burn the rink down if they trade Brady. |

Never mind the fact as soon as you put on the C you are getting traded in a year or two

I got a ton of blame to go around. Honestly, the only players I'm good with this year. Rempe, Carrack, Cullye |

I can’t remember a more unlikeable Ranger team. The Quinn teams we knew sucked so I won’t count them. This team. This season
I just want to see Perrault and Othmann get a goal before the season ends |

Supposedly his back has been f’d up all season. With how bad he’s been, why not just shut him down and let him rest?? Dumb dumb and dumber running this organization |

I'd rather a guy not make amends with a teammate that signed a massive contract and doesn't want to show up and work hard than to have a leader who is a push over and is going to let that type of lack of accountability fester.
Wasn't it Graves that said the Messier Jersey on the ground incident changed the course of the franchise? In 2025 we will make every excuse in the world to make those that wish to hold others accountable look bad. |

What’s the Messier jersey on the ground incident? |
|
|
|
I just read an article about Messier’s dad punching his teammates as they walked into the locker room at the end of a game bc during the game they didn’t stand up for each other. So 1 by 1 as they walked in he just started popping them in the mouth until there was enough of them to restrain him.
Sign 88 year old Doug Messier, guy has more stones than anyone on the current roster. |

Looks like GP scratched.
Lavi getting fired and doing all the same dumb poop he did to the caps.
You realize as you get older a lot of these coaches/GMs are not good. They just have jobs bc of people they know or bc they played hockey. Same thing in most companies |

Really glad we burned a year off his ELC to watch him play a few meaningless games and now be scratched. Brilliant move once again by Drury |
